Aloha all, I am another March filer.

I Sent I-130 package off on 3/26, arrived at Chicago lockbox on 3/30. My check cleared on 4/7.

I still haven't received any NOA's, although my check was cashed. I saw another thread where someone found their number off a copy of the back of their cashed check. I am looking at mine now, and it is very hard to see. Im not sure which number it will be.

I will try and look further into this, as well as wait and hope I do get a NOA1 hardcopy via snail mail.

PS-Can someone add me to the spreadsheet? Mahalo

Now, about your NOA-1, I would say you're overdue

to receive the hardcopy. The good thing is that they

did cash your check.

You should see WAC on the back followed by hard to

see numbers. Try changing the very last number to the

next highest digit.

That's what happened wth our case. The check cashed had

a "1" on the back, but the NOA-1 hardcopy was registered

with a "2". Sure enough, when I checked online with the 2,

our case showed up in the system.

Thank you very much BettYRey!! It seems that I am in the right place. Feel free to add me to your spreadsheet as a March 2008 filer Unfortunately, I'm going to mess up the curve . I'm definitely concerned about not receiving my NOA1 in the mail. I did try to input the EACxxxxxxxxxx on the back of my cleared check, but no record is found on the online system. If I input the number and change the last digit by a factor of 1, records appear for receipt of March 26 and 28. My check cleared on the 27th. Did my application stick to the bottom of someone elses???

Anyway, before I ramble on too much, I started a new thread on this "receipt notification issue". Feel free to chime in.

if you see a notice date by

changing the last case number

then more than likely that's your

NOA-1 date.

what happened in our case was

that they cashed the check, but

the WAC number on the back of

it ended with "1", but our physical

NOA-1 letter ended with "2".

sounds confusing, but it's a good

sign that they at least cashed the

funding.

Hey all. Was just wanting some clarification on these timelines.. are you all referring to I-130's for AOS or/ and the standalone I-130 (which is filed while my spouse remains outside the US)? I am just a little confused as from our timeline.. we have been waiting for 4 weeks now for the NOA1 since we filed.. is this usual for standalone I-130s? Also, is there anyone who has filed a standalone I-130 who has their NOA1? Timelines for this would be much appreciated. Thanks!!

We're monitoring I-130s (CR-1/IR-1) spousal/relative filings

for March 2008. It's an offshoot of the larger spreadsheet

that Delicia has going as noted by Kalbo above.

The sheet we started is easier to track as it pertains

solely to those who've filed in March 2008 and only

if they CR-1/IR-1 filers. The K3 is a horse of a different color.

BTW, you should've received your NOA-1 by now, especially

since they've cashed your check. Have you tried the I30 case

number trick on the back of the check yet?

Is any of you filing for K3? If so, is it because your embassy with CR1? Or because you think it will get approved before the CR1? Anyone filed yet?

No, we didn't file K3. It seemed

kinda redundant and complicated

with the whole switching back and

forth/racing to see which one's

approved, etc. Strictly CR-1/IR-1

for us.

There is a good chance he/she is lying. If you sent your I-130 in January, you sure did not receive your NOA1 in January 21. I am a December filer and we started getting our NOA1 in February.

we filed an I-130 (overnighted) this past March 4.

They received it on the 5th, cashed the check on

the 10th, and sent the NOA-1 to my home on the

12th. Or was it the 13th. LOL

Point is, hopefully they've unplugged the drain

and the cases can move through quicly now.

Im so happy right now, I just recieved my NOA2 by email no hardcopy yet but i just recieved it in a mere 4 months and 11 days. My I-130 was recieved at the CSC on November 5th and i truly didnt expect an approval till mid may at the earliest. WOW, maybe im making too much out of this but im really so pleased that it was approved so quickly, I know i still have a ways to go but i think its good news, it seems to me that the CSC is starting to crank em out in a lil more timely fashion now....Hope others start to recieve theres as well sooner rather than later...good luck to all!

I mailed our I-130 petition to the Chicago lock box on March 5, 2008 (overnight) and it was received on the 6th by Bustamante.

I have been told everything from two weeks to 90 days for the NOA-1 so I would like to keep track and see where it actually hits.

Check was cashed yesterday, March 12th. Moving pretty swiftly! Hopefully now they're working through the kinks...

If you filed in March 2008 or thereabouts, please post so that we can track it.
