  1. Me and my husband met at www.asiankisses.de website. We were just friends for 6 months. When his birthday came, I decided to engage in a deeper relationship with him. He visited me 4 months after that. We filed for K1 visa soon after he arrived from his visit and was approved March 2008. We got married by May and 1 month after I got pregnant. We will name him Josh. He will be due by March 11 one year after my interview date in Manila.

  2. Wow, we're so glad to received by mail today September 19, 2008 my 2 year GREEN CARD!!! The process was just easy...during the time of my biometrics appointment since it's saturday, there's no other interviewee and it makes the process so quick...we'd say after we filled up the form and my finger printing only lasts for about 5 minutes. Then after around 2 months, I received my EAD card. We didn't apply for AP. We're so glad that my case was transferred to California service center, in that case I have no interview anymore. Thank you so much God!!!:dance::dance:

  3. Thanks guys...am just so happy to receive and read that email today. What a great news for us!!! I don't have interview set, and maybe none anymore coz my new card is being ordered for production already. I just cant get this in my mind, there are 2 significant days in America's history where I have good news. The first time is when we have pregnancy test on July 4, Independence Day and second one is today, September 11, the Twin Towers Bombing. And one more, but it's not for America's history anymore, it's March 11 my due date, which is the day too of my interview at US embassy in Manila...one year after that is my baby's welcome interview to the world.

  5. I considered buying a round-trip ticket for my Fiancee cuz sometimes she is SO SO KULIT and I may want to send her back home! hahahaha - A one way ticke is all you need Gary, best of luck! (We paid about $1000 for a ticket from Manila to US east coast - stopped in SF). By the way we HIGHLY recommend San Fran as port of entry!! There are several posts about POEs here, but San Fran was a BREEZE!!

  6. SO HAPPY TO KNOW THAT AFTER JULY 4TH PREGNANCY TEST, IT TURNED POSITIVE!!! I arrived here from Philippines last March 29. We got married May 17 and now here it is...AM PREGNANT!!! Woweee, just feels so good. My husband is really looking forward to this too. HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!

Hi, congratulations to you on your pregnancy! I have a question though about your vaccination while in the Philippines. Did you get the MMR & Varicella? I did & was told not to get pregnant after 3 months. Likewise, in filing my AOS I was required to take a second shot of MMR & varicella & I'm not supposed to get pregnant again after 3 months. What did your doctor tell you about this? Goodluck to you & your new family soon. Stay healthy!

    Hi Nikmia,

Yes, I had MMR & varicella vaccines while am on my medical at SLEC. The doctor told me that I should not get pregnant just for one month after the vaccination. When I file my AOS, the shot that I haven't taken yet is the TD so I got it from the family doctor here. After, I went to USCIS certified civil surgeon in our area and have it transfered to I-693 vaccination supplement. I explained to our doctor that I didn't have to retake MMR & Varicella. Luckily, for TD shot the doctor told that it's just safe to get pregnant.

  7. She made it!!! Today I picked up my Fiancee from the airport and we are here together at last. Our entire process from our NOA1 has been 100% problem free and after we received our NOA2 it went by so fast. Her experience at the San Francisco airport as noted here by so many others was a breeze! She had a 3 hour layover and then finally made it to my city early this Saturday morning and we are ready to begin our lives together. The wedding is May 17th, and I can imagine how beautiful she will look in her wedding dress! I only wish everyone else's experiences will be as hassle free as ours has been, though I must send out my thanks to all the help available on this site. Best of luck to all still on their Visa Journey!

  8. She did it!!! My Fiancee passed her interview at the US Embassy in Manila yesterday! It's been a little over 6 months since our NOA 1 and Im overwhelmed that she will be with me here in the US in just a matter of days. She had every form required by the USE as well as more than enough evidence of our relationship (though the Consular only asked to see photos of us together). She said he was very surprised that I visited her twice in the Philippines and overall it was a fairly painless experience.....(except for her first experience with the ####### of a needle at St Lukes). I am actually VERY surprised at how easy this process has been for us - I had seriously considered using the aid of an attorney but in retrospect, that was obviously unecessary with the abundance of help available on this site. (Special thanks to Sheriff Uling!) I wish the best of luck to those still on their "visa journey", with a little time and patience, it CAN BE DONE! Thanks too, to my Mother for all her countless hours researching this site and helping prevent any of the numerous delays so many others here have experienced, by learning from their mistakes posted here. I cant find the words to express my excitement about picking up my Sweetie at the airport here in my city later this month, a moment Im sure I will remember forever!
