I am US Citizen. I applied for my wife on. I applieied online and received only receipt number. They received my application on November 20th , 2023. Now it has been more than 20 months now ,but they still cannot take decision. I can check the status online my progress. They just keep extending the time when given time is over. As far as I know it takes not more that 12 months. Should I write a letter to my Congressman and senator about my case? I am thinking about doinjg it. It is way out of processing time. Is there any form to white a letter to congressman or Senator? How do I know which state or field office is processing my application since there is no info other than receipt number.

I appliedd I-130 for my wife in November 2023. Now it is alsmost 14.5 months since they receiced it. I applied online. No document were missing or additional document was not required. I know one person's I-130 was a[proved in 6 months. How can I contact them or how do I know here my allication is sitting at? I applied from Alabama online.

I-130's are about 14 months. Do you mean the whole process to bring my wife here or just to get the I-130 application get approved? I -130 is just to verify the marriage is legal or illegal or genuine. Why does it take so much time to get it approved.

Hi, I applied Novenber 29th,2023 for my wife. It is almost 11 months now. How long does it take to process this application. I had two months to take dicision and came down to one week , and now I see status or progress is written like , it is taking longer than expected but no explanation why taking longer than expected time. What does it mean. I file I-130 online. How do I know where which field office is processing my application? Is there any contact number or other way to communicacate with the field office. I applied online from Alabama. Any nifo is appreciated.
