    Just got back from my interview today, it went smoothly, the IO was very nice, she was just very particular with the evidences and proofs of our relationship, in fact she didnt ask a lot of question but she spent too much time looking at our evidences, she only ask me the following question:

    How did u met?

    How long you've been together before deciding to file the petition?

    Are you working right now?

    and those question about terrorism.

    She just ask my hubby if he is still working on the same company and thats it, she printed out a letter stating that they granted me a lawful permanent resident and the card should be mailed to me within 2 wks, if i do not receive the card in two weeks, i must schedule for infopass. That's it, now Im done! Goodluck to those who are still waiting, see yah guys on Removing of condition...hehehe!

    Today I got mail from USCIS that they cancelled my interview on June 02, 2008 but i haven't receive any mail from them stating that they already scheduled an interview and even my status online was not touch since after my biometrics, Im so confuse right now. Anyone experience the same thing? what do i need to do? Do i still need to show up on the day of the interview even if I dnt have the letter for the interview only the cancellation letter? Please i need ur advice... Thank you in advance

    We just received a letter saying the same but our interview was set for June 3. We also did not receive the actual interview letter. We are going to the Sacramento office. We will look all the posts to see if this is something common

    Anyone out there who is a Registered Nurse from other country like Philippines? I wanna start some job hunting since i have my EAD now but I dnt know how to get started. Any advice? Im still waiting for my eligibility for NCLEX, and wanted to work while waiting, wanted to have a job that has something to do with my profession. Thank you so much in advance. God bless!

    Case Status Retrieval Failed

    I know I'm being impatient here. I filed for AOS last March 27, 2008. I already received my Receipt notice and even got my Biometrics Appointment Notice but until now I still unable to check my case status online. Everytime I enter my application number it says Validation Error(s). Are there any March applicants that has the same case with mine? Is this normal that they just don't update their system regularly?

    Hi everyone!i tried checking my case online with uscis but it says user id and password are invalid but i typed the right one until i exceeded the number of attempts and then i tried checking it using my case number and it says CASE STATUS RETRIEVAL FAILED.Anyone out there experienced the same thing?Im kinda worried.

    Yea I tried and got the same thing, they must be updating it or something. I'm sure It will be back up tommorow :angry:

    Oh Thank God!Whew :whistle: All i thought my case was denied or what coz my case was last touched last march 21.Thanx granded14 for ur prompt reply!

    I had touches after our bio appt. but nothing since. My positive thinking is that I'll start seeing movement on our case next week. Somehow in my mind I'm giving USCIS about 30 days after the bio appt to get the EAD going and about the same for a notice to interview.

    If I don't get info on the EAD and a notice to interview by 4/20 I will start to get a little anxious. Just praying everything will work out the way we hope it will.

    Im sorry but i put the wrong date for my bio,had my bio last March 21,I mailed my application last Feb 27 and got my NOAs on March 10.I know this may sound ridiculous but how can i make my timeline here just like yours :blush: !and also can somebody add me on the list.Thank u so much and Good Luck to all of us

    My husband had this same problem (well the birthday part at least) and we made an infopass. They told us that everything was correct in the INS system but something may have been entered wrong at the POE. So, we went to the international area of the airport and spoke with one of the officers there and he checked and said yes indeed his birthday was entered incorrectly in their system. -_- He told he us corrected it and it should take 3-4 days to update in the system. So, after 5 days had passed we went to the SSA office and it still had not updated in their system. We are still awaiting INS verification, but the SSA lady is going to keep checking every week. She said it could take up to 3-4 MONTHS! :o
