-MY POLICE REPORT WILL BE FORWARDED BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT WHERE I DID MY POLICE CLEARANCE

-letters -emails-phone records-our wedding card- wedding and engagement movie.........JUST WANNA KNOW THAT I ARRANGED THE PHOTOS IN AN ALBUM IS IT OK...........

SHOULD I ALSO TAKE THE GIFTS WHICH I RECEIVED FROM MY HUSBAND?

Could you tell me, mys husband will be going for his K-3 interview soon. I did not know does he need my birth certificate original? Also when you made the copies of DS-156 did you photo copy or print two separate forms with different bar codes?

well my husband filed the ds-156 on behave of me...he printed 2 copies i saw the forms it has same bar codes on each i don't know what he did printed or photocopied...

about the birth certificate I'm taking both mine and my husbands just in case they need it...

in the affidavit of support i have got: i134 filled by my husband, a letter from his work stating his work status and his pay, a letter from his bank showing his savings,all his tax records,his pay stubs,

AS PROOF OF OUR RELATIONSHIP[/u][/u]

i have OUR WEDDING MOVIES, WEDDING PHOTOS,LETTERS AND E-MAILS,

CARDS EXCHANGED, PHONE RECORDS THAT IS THE OUT GOING AND THE IN COMING CALLS, TXT MESSAGE RECORDS, GIFTS THAT I RECEIVED....

DO YOU THINK THAT I HAVE MISSED SOMETHING...

the thing is that when my husband filed my papers he filed using my family name that is ARTI LATA.......and that is what i had in my appointment letter....i just got my RENEWED PASSPORT and in that i changed my name by adding my husbands last name THAT IS ARTI LATA CHAND....to it.....

coz i want my husbands name...will it do any problem

EVEN MY MEDICAL AND POLICE REPORT WAS DONE ON THAT....

MY HUSBAND SAYS WHAT EVER IS ON THE PASSPORT FILL IT LIKE THAT...

MY QUESTION IS...IS IT OK....

In a previous thread (in the K1 forum) I saw information relating to tracking movements between NVC and Embassy. Well, I used this info to check when a package (our I129F) left the NVC bound for the US Consulate in Johannesburg. Found out that it was received on 31 March. Just got off the phone with the US Consulate, spoke with a friendly gentleman who was busy with our case at the time of my call. I collect packet 3 on Thursday this week (2 April). I'm thrilled!!!!!!

That is superb news!! .... cannot wait to hear you have your visa in your hand and you're plane ticket is booked .... southern hemisphere to northern hemisphere, Nadia I guess you'll miss winter this year

well i received my noa2 on the 12 of mar....and on the 29 of mar i received a letter from the nvc stating that in a weeks time my case will be sent to the embassy. a case number is assigned to my case...IS WEB SITE PRESENT WHERE I CAN LOG ON AND FIND THE STATUS OF MY CASE LIKE WE DID IN .THE USCIS WEB....

AND MOST IMPORTANT HAS ANY OF THE AUG FILERS HAD ANY REPLY FROM THE EMBASSY....FOR THE PACKET 3.....

M SOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY IN FEW MONTHS TIME I'L BE WITH MY DREAM BOY........

Congrats on your case being transferred to your embassy. Was your consulate an appointment or standard processing post? This is to determine what you will need at the interview. Did you have to submit any documents to the NVC?

I would suggest you call NVC right away -- they are very friendly and will give you all the details. Chances are they have already processed your file and sent it to the consulate. Mine was approved on March 7th, NVC received it on 14th, and they sent it to consulate on March 18th. I received a confirmation letter from NVC three or four days later, I think. Couple of other cases approved around my timeline were processed even faster than that. In 90 days, your spouse should already be here.

Congradulations!!! It is being sent to the nvc now! The NVC usually takes about 5 days to process on average and then it will be sent to your embassy it depends on the country but that usual;ly takes about 10 days to get there! Once they recieve the petition they will send you packet 3 with a list of papers you need to have for the interview! After you send them in they will send you packet 4 with your interview date! Some countries like Russia only send one packet it depends where you are from? but your interview will most likely be in about 2 months or a little longer

wat will dis packet 3 consist of is it the medical and police report?

Honestly, I do not know about the time. Vary by Embassy. However, the Support Fee Bill usually takes about 2-3 weeks.

I can give you a hint as to when you'll be receiving packet 3. I went directly to the Embassy to get them, but let me tell you. You'll get them within 1-3 months.

we got our APPROVAL TODAY

THEY SAY THEY'LL 4WARD TO NVC NEXT

Sit back, and enjoy the ride. Not for long. You'll be expecting to receive two letters in the mail. One is for the Support fee bill for CR1 visa; however, you do not need to submit this since you are going to K3. And, packet 3 from the US Embassy covering your case. Just wait for Packet 3. Nothing else needs to be done.

he filed the actual thing on 24 aug...and the processing started on nov 9.....

when ever i check 'case status on line it says "CASE RECEIVED AND PENDING"
