Hi patiently waiting
hope this helps...
Can my spouse bring her/his children?
Yes. An IR visa allows unmarried minor children to travel to the U.S., either at the same time as your spouse or at a later date. However, a separate immigrant visa petition is required for each child in an IR case.
However, for an IR-1 visa, you MUST be domiciled in the United States by the time your spouse appears for a personal interview at the Embassy.
NOTE: Active duty U.S. military personnel are considered to be domiciled in the United States while serving overseas.

Hello all...
I knoe probably someone already ask this questions before but I would like to know the answers again, if possible. It'd be great and very helpful..Thank you very much VJ friends
My question is:
Is there anything I or my fiance needed to do while we wait for the NoA2? Can my fiance give me his Affidavit of Support already, including all his company letter, bank statements, ITR's, and I-134? I thought I read something that the I-134 cannot be notarized until we received a NoA2 approval. Is that correct, so we have to wait until the NoA2 to be approved then he can notarize the I-134.
Second, can I get all my NBi clearance, Police Clearance, Birth Certificate, and what else do i need to get again? hehe...i'm lost..theres so many requirements that i forget now..Anyway, can I get all those instead of waiting for the Packet 3?
And Last, When should I take the Medical Exam, Is it before 1 week or 1 month before the Interview Appointment.
Hehe..sorry for the many questions, I am just so worried and anxious about all this, I want to be with my Fiance ASAP..huhu...
Thank you so very Much Much My VJ friends...

K1 Applying SSN after marriage
in Working & Traveling During US Immigration
Posted
Hi, we have the same married date, Oct. 18, 2008.
Anyway, i went to SS office and had no problem..all i brought was the application, passport, and marriage certificate...
At first the guy gave me a Social security in the name of my passport..and he made me check if it is correct..well there were many mistakes, such as my mother's name spelled wrong and my married name not shown..he did not read what it was written in the application..he based it all thru my passport. So I told him that i would like my name changed to my married name and showed him again my marriage certificate..SO then he changed it..after two weeks, i received my ss card..now i am applying for my California ID..
So even if you have married, you are able to get an SS as your I-94 havent expired yet.
Good Luck!
