  1. Hi guys,GUESS WHAT!!!!!!! They mailed my welcome notice letter to our old address, and the post office forwarded it to our new address yesterday!!!!!!! We changed our address at first of JAN by AR-11 online ,I-865 and even called the 1800 number,i got all kind of confirmation of address changed succesful. We even called the 1800 yesterday morning ,the lady on the phone told us that they def mailed the green card to our new address. And now, they STILL sent the welcome notice to the old address.

I heard that the post office will not forward green card ,right? What should i do now then? Any idea will be apreciated. I am really very upset about this :( Hope not going to deal with that I-90.

  2. Yes,guess that is your welcome letter too! Good luck~

HI....I just had my interview on the 19 Feb and was approved and my passport stamped with I-551.

It took till 22 February for my online status to change and show a letter has been mailed to me that day. I assume its my Welcome letter. Nothing about "card production ordered" as of yet!

    Hope you get yours soon!

  3. Hi,Happyone, thanks for reply. We did not put name on our mail box,we did registered our name at post office . But anyway, you are right, need to put name on the mail box just in case. How you asked USCIS to resend GC to you? By I-90 or just call? From your timeline,it seem worked out pretty fast.

did you guys put your name on your mailbox (or inside your mailbox so the mail man can see)?

In my case my GC was returned because my name was not shown on the mailbox.

I know it is common here in the US to display your name on the mailbox BUT in this case I would put the name on/in the mailbox until you got your GC.

    Good luck!

  4. Hi vivi and jimjim, thank you! Hopefully it arrive soon ! Saw most of people got their GC in couple days after "approve notice sent",maybe i worry too much!

    Hi Linda,

Don't worry too much...at least you knew your interview was approved.

The production of the GC varies from different cases, from 11 days to 2 months (that's what I heard from my friends)

Anyway, hope you will receive yours soon!! :dancing:

  5. Yes,that is what we going to do.Its been 2 weeks, still nothing,no welcome letter,no anything. If it really lost in mail, that mean we have to fill I-90 ...then wait again

I am sure you will see some new status very soon

    [Hi there

At least you saw "card production ordered" on your case status online already. We can"t see nothing updated online yet. And when we call the customer svc #, they just read what's showing online for the case status?! As if the interview was never happened?!

I think u can call them in a few days...at least they can also see the case status showing "card production ordered" So they can tell u if it's lost in mail. I really hope we see something like that on our case stutus soon

  6. [same with us. It's been more than 3 weeks and going 4th week now....still nothing..... And the case status online is not updated either..... It looks like USCIS don't even send out welcome letter like it used to. They just send out GC right away. Are u K-1 or K-3 visa too? The IO took our I- 94 by the way.

Hi,Anneiyandjacky. I noticed there are some member who recently got approved got their welcome notice before GC.We are K3 visa, the IO took our I-94 too when we had interview AUG last year. Best luck to all of us

  7. Today, my wife and I received her two-year conditional card! Woo!

    Interesting thing:

The date that her permanent residency is valid from begins on the date of our interview (as it should. We were approved on that date verbally) We didn't actually get a notice from CRIS until about a week later of the approval. I wonder if our case was reviewed before final approval was granted? Or if our local office didn't enter the approval into the system and transfered our file back to MSC. Prior to getting the approval email, our case was still "Pending" at MSC. It never was listed as transfered.

I dunno. Glad its done :)

    Congrats :dance::dance::dance:
