Until today, the automated voice machine plays the same message and my hub in US could not get hold to any body at NVC. Is there any case that they lost half of your paper when you sent together in 1 package? I just dont understand any more...

My hub has just called them and they said they recieved all documents that we sent. She said that the automated answer machine and the staff who actual process the paper is totally different process in NVC??? The more I deal with NVC, the more frustrated became I am!

Have any one in my situation? My hub in US sent both DS-230 with all of my required civil documentaries and I-864 with all affadavit support documents but now they only said they received DS-230. Why? How come? It is all in one package? Did they missed it? Or different staff in charge of different type of ducument and sometimes one enter to the system quicker than the other one? I try to think logically but can not. Anyone may have answer? Manythank and cheer!

I agreed with Hien and yes I had my husband asked me the same type of question, that was terrible hurt and hard to forget but as peter said: problem comes and goes, love last, I like that saying. We have to be able to work through if we really feel the bottom of each other hearts is love.

However, after my husband explained to me why he thought and said that, I understand that he had such terify of being 14 years older than me, of being so in love and may loosing for somebody rich and younger.

It took a while for me to heal my pride and showing him that there is no more one reason make me come to US is him, I even wish if he can consider to work in vietnam but I sacrify my good job, very good earn,...to go to US to start all over again like Hien said?

Now, my husband no longer ask those questions but start thinking that now I want to stay in Vietnam and no longer want to go to US with him of having such good job.

So, to Thanh, if your girl fall into the type of lady we mentioned then what you asked is really hurt her now and it hard for her to believe that you think about her like that, why she is insult from the man that she loves ( I'm trying to translate the situation and her mind), that why she needs abit of time to reconsider the relationship.

This is the opinion from a woman if you want to put all together to consider, you should right a full email, explain to her exactly why you think and said so, what you worry, what you concern. Man normally hide their emotion but if you look for a compromise, then open yourself out.

I was just like you at the first time, even worst, I thought " oh, now we married then the next day we go to the embassy to get the visa", just a naive. However, I think because we filed the case right after they raise the fee, so as you read arount VJ forum, there was tons of petitions. But keep follow K3 forum, I believe the situation is much better now. Be strong.

My case, in Vermont, started sending I-130 Aug/07, got NO2 on Feb/08 and I-129F still recieved and pending. We are 7 months up to now and we got a packet sent from NVC to laywer about 3 days ago, I think our case will be at the NVC about 2,3 months, so let say 13, 14 months until I get to the interview, of course with no REF.

See my timeline, I had it in 50 days but we filed for K3 and I waited 4 months for the I-130 NO1, so I think by the end of the road, it is fair.

Few $$$ will work, this happen every where, my case and my co-worker case is the same, when they gave me the marriage certificate, my birthday was incorrect but I returned and had it fixed right there in 1 week, of course with few extra $$$. My advise, contact directly with the authorized person in the Justice Department ( vietnam) who take care the case to fix it.

But obviously, that is pissed of paying money over somebody fault.

This news is actually work for me because my hubby filed I-130 on Aug07 and I had NOA1 by Dec07, NOA2 by Feb08 so we kinda backward when we sent in I-129F just right after got NOA1. I dont care much about the fee but it is tired of thinking I-129F gonna take another 4 months atleast to be approved. So, if they move on with my i-130, it is good enough. Normally encourage myself that as you move foward with CR1, you will have green card 10 years by the time you get to US and you can apply for working permit right away. That good news for me, thanks for the post.

my petion (I-130) was approved febr 15, im august filer at CSC and I had touch on feb 17 (sunday) and feb 18

does anyone know how long does this last step at NVC takes thanks

My I-130 was approved on Feb 15, too and I'm Ausgust filer, I had to waited 4 months for the NOA1 of I-130. As I know if you take I-130 interview, then your paper will be moved to NVC and takes about 1 to 3 months while they required you some of forms and fee ( you should refer the CR1 case for this as what I'm doing ).

conratualtions on ur approval.. it says u r a K3?? did u get approved for ur k3 or just ur i130 got approved?? even i am part of VSC thats y i am curious.. i am an october filer...

Yes, I'm K3, they only approved my I-130 then nothing else yes. I will keep all of you posted.

That is correct, however I'm K3 or CR1, I have not known yet!!!

I'm new VJ member and my husband filed our K3 on August, so let me join.

When we got my NOA2 for our I-130 and just had I-129F received, I was freaked out. But now, when went throught 14 pages, I think my I-cl129F will be cancelled soon, you can see my timeline to know why I said so.

Sent I-130 on 8/28/07

NOA1 on 12/21/08 close to 4 months to have NOA1, paintful

Sent I-129F on 1/2/08

NOA1 for I-129F on 1/2/08 this is quick

Then NOA2 for I-130 approval

Now, we waiting their mail and see how they told us to do.

We received our NOA2 hardcopies for both the I-130 as well as the I-129F and they haven't cancelled our I-129 F. However, they have given instructions on what needs to be done incase we decide to drop the I-129F and continue with the I-130.

Hi, I'm not in the similar situation but I'm also in a frustrated case that if you might know anything, please let me know.

We also filed for K3 but on 15Feb/08 we had our I-130 approved and they havent cancelled our I-129 F yet, it currently: received and pending (waiting for NOA2). If you had receive their instructions, can you let us know as we also waiting for NOA2 in hard copy. We dont know what in their and what should we do next

So, nobody ever know about this case? I asked my husb to call in USCIS but they let him waited for 1 hour, he should be more pateint, I guess, and every body. I think even my antoney ran to check with her senior as she has not got back with us. However, as long as I clarify this, I will let you all!

As we filed with new fee, $335 and I heard that, there is no other fee for I129F, is that true?

Hi every body, I've join the visajourney just few minutes ago thought been a viewer for a while.

I've just found the Ctygl have the same situation with me and I dont know what going on, Elbereth said they are moving us up to CR1, hopefully everything got into place. If any one know about this situation before, please let me know. I'm very confused.
