  1. When i checked my online status today i found this message below. Advice please if you've seen before.

    • At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the NCSC 1 (800) 375-5283 for additional information.

To view the status of a case, please enter the corresponding application receipt number. The 13-character application receipt number can be found on application notices you have received from the USCIS. It begins with three letters such as (EAC, WAC, LIN, or SRC). Dashes ("-") should be omitted when entering a receipt number. However, all other characters, including asterisks ("*"), can be included if listed on your notice as part of the receipt number.

Listed above are the possible steps an application or petition may go through during processing. Not every application or petition will spend time in each of these steps. Once you enter your receipt number you will see the steps that will always be required for that particular application or petition. The step in the process where your case is currently located will be highlighted. Other steps will appear if your case requires that particular step.

  2. Suppose to say request for evidence responce review if they got it n io touched ur file. Did u send it with delivery confirmation?

Yes i sent it with a return receipt, but i received only electronic return Receipt by Email not that regular Green return Receipt.

  3. Didn't you have your interview a couple days ago?

    How did it go?

Me and my wife attended the Aos interview last Monday. The IO asked for IDs ,Basics questions like where and when did we met ? , she collected my I-94 and bona-fide evidence.

it went smooth without any tricky questions but she didn't gave us a decision on spot even until this moment we didn't hear from them.

I'm really worried i don't know what to do .

By the way at the end of the interview she gave me a paper to sign it , it says where did i meet my wife? and the answer of the question!! I dont know if thats normal or not.

  4. I lost my I-94 and did not get a replacement, instead i FOIA'd my arrival/departure records so i can have proof of my legal entry(also my I-94#). I was told that they generally ask for and keep your I-94 at the interviews.

iaia- I'm so sorry that your situation is a bit more complicated than you expected. I don't know much about it so i can't input. I do hope that you can get a clear picture f it at your infopass appt. Good Luck

I believe that will work for you . also i think u can request I-94 but im not quite sure about it .

    Good Luck

  5. It did seem simple to me though we had a mountain of paperwork like shared lease, joint account statements, health and auto insurance policies with both our names and addresses.

The biggest thing he focused on was how we met, when we became romantically involved etc. I'm 51 and she is 22 and he made a comment about that being a reason for him to focus on legitimacy of our relationship, but the comment was made AFTER we answered his questions and he seemed to make the comment only to justify why he asked us questions to begin with, lol ("but that - age difference - is not any issue because you two obviously share many things in common")

First off they want you to know they are serious, advising you they are reviewing and interviewing to evaluate the legitimacy of the petition and will be looking at documents and asking a number of questions. Then, please stand and raise your right hand, taking an oath to tell the truth and noting but the truth.

We stayed calm and repeated what was the truth and to be honest, what we had rehearsed a bit as most people forget...even anniversaries, lol.

Funny moment when he was asking her history, like was she a criminal, prostitute, terrorist etc...had you ever been part of a militia...had you ever fired weapons or guns..."NO" she replied and then I had to interject, well, yes, I have taken her shooting a number of times to which he/interviewer was satisfied she was not running around central africa shooting weapons with a militia

That's awesome best of luck to you both
