    My husband and I met in August 2004. Our fiancé visa was denied in March 2008. We separated for while but we maintained contact. I returned to Dominican Rep in September 2009 and we picked up right where we left off. We married in November 2010. I went back in February and May. I submitted I - 130 in March. Patiently waiting on our approval and hoping he will be here with me before the end of the year.

    I am disoriented, I dont know what else to do? Who else to call? I call Consulate in Santo Domingo, NVC and USCIS and no one knows anything. I am tired of the waiting game. Keep in mind that our visa was denied back in December. It has been seven month without any info. What to do?

      IDK what is wrong with these ppl in the consulate!! My petition was denied in September. I had my congressman involved I callled DOS, I called the DR # where u pay the $7, when I was over there I also purchased the pin in banco popular to call the embassy, I wrote a letter to the general consul and the dept of state and they each responded something different. One said AP the other said it was coming back to US, the other said it was out of their jurisdiction and the general cons...

      ul never responded to my letter. They sent me a letter for christmas (I received this Dec 22) saying my case would be returned for possible revocation in the near future. They finally sent my case back Feb 24 and USCIS received it May 1st. Have much much patience mija...as this is a ride! A very overwelming one. Pm me if you have questions or conserns.
