I received an email from The Department of Homeland Security today, February 2, 2009 at 7:25pm. I am currently in Cartagena, Colombia visiting my fiance. I have been here 2 days, but today I received the greatest gift in my NOA2 approval. I filed for the fiance visa on August 11, 2008. I honestly did not realize how overcome with emotion that Ana and I would be about receiving the NOA2! We laughed together, we cried together and most importantly we thanked God for our NOA2!

I thought I would be approved by November, so I put that we would be married in November 2008. Now that we have the NOA2, I can probably safely say that we will get married sometime in April!

Filed for AOS on December 31, 2010. Biometrics appointment is January 28, 2011. Yippee! Does anyone know how long we will have to wait after the biometrics appointment? Also, is it true that some people do not have to go through an interview, and that they just receive their green card in the mail.
