  1. Hello all,

Hopefully somebody are able to assist me with below.

So a little about my background. Almost two years ago I was approved for my green card, and today is the 90 day before my expiration date. Until now I have gone on with my everyday without worrying about doing anything for immegration. I only had todays date in mind, so I have been igorant about it. So here the issue. I have everything ready to file the I-751, but realized that I have not filed the AR-11 as I have moved twice over that the two years. What do I do? Do I file one AR11 from the first place I lived when filing for green card to where I live now? Or do I two AR11, one from the first to second place I lived and a second filing from where I lived to where I live now?

Also, do my spouse who sponsored me have to file a I865?'

Hoping somebody can help with some legal advice on immegration.

    Thank you in advance.

  2. Nope, AP was not shown approved online. Actually I was not even able to track it online before April 24th and I succeeded doing it, it was just a touch.

I don't know how long it takes with Nebraska, we filled in Chicago and I had to redo my fingerprints so I was even more concerned because of the delay it will generate and the fact that each time I tried to add AP receipt number in my portofolio it said "error"!

Keep us informed once you receive it...

I keep my fingers crossed for you!

    Thanks greedy...

Anybody who has filed AP at Nebraska Service Center lately??

  3. We applied for AOS February 20th and I just received today the Advanced Parole so yours might be on its way!

The funny thing is that I received an email from Immigration on April 24th saying that they approved the work authorisation and that it has been sent to me on April 23th so it has been a real surprise to find the Advance Parole instead of work authorisation in my mail box!

I fully understand how anxious you are as we organized our religious wedding in France in the end of June (everything is booked, paid...) so I was really looking forward receiving the AP!

    Good luck!

    Thanks and Congrats!!

Hopefully mine is in the mail now, did yours show approved online before you received it?

Earlier today I called USCIS who told me that they are processing January 16th now but if you received yours now then they should be working on February files. However did you file in Chicago? I applied in Nebraska, do they have the same time lines...

  4. Hi everybody,

I guess I'm just looking for some confirmation that everything will be okay. I filed I-130, I-485 and I-765 back on December 17th. I have received my work permit so the process is under way. However in early February I filed for a I-131 and received the notice that they had received on Feb 19th. I still haven't received it and we have already booked our tickets to go to Denmark on May 23rd. I have been checking the status online and it seems like they have touched it on 4/02/08 but I haven't heard anything. If everything goes as planned I should receive it within the 90 days and before having to leave the country. It's tight which is stupid but we couldn't afford the extra $300 when we started applying. I see on this website that the current timeline is about 65 days which has been passed and the case still says pending.

Do you have any guidance? Ways to check on the case?

    Thanks,

    Jonas

  5. My AP NOA date is four days before yours, and I got an approved email last week. So you should be getting yours soon.

Be careful using it if you filed when you were in overstay, as there is a chance you may have trouble re-entering. There are a few threads on this, including one recent one. It seems to be a grey area but the consensus is that if you filed AP while on a visitor visa, AND you were in overstay, you are at risk of not being re-admitted. Not to rain on your parade - just something to look into:)

Did you receive the actual Advanced Parole? So it sounds like there's still hope.

I will be very careful about this but we did not file until after the visitor visa had expired. So we applied being out of status to get into status so hopefully it's okay.

    Thank you for your reply:-)

  6. Hello out there,

    I need your urgent advise.

I got married to my american wife in December 2007 while coming here on a visitor Visa, but we did not get married until it was expired. We applied for a I485 and I765 meanwhile I received my work permit but I'm still waiting to go to my interview to become a residence. A little over two months ago we applied for a Advance parole I-131 because I need to go back to Denmark for family celebrations with my wife. On february 19th we got the received notice on the AP but since then haven't heard anything back. We are scheduled to travel in a month and I'm getting worried that I won't receive it in due time. I set up a meeting at the immegration office to get it expedited but they would only do that for emergencies. However they gave me a fax number where they told me to fax my iterniary in order to get it faster but I don't know if it helped. I also called the expedite hotline where the agent told me that I only need proof that the AP was filed and that I did not need the actual AP. I don't believe that.

So my question to you is, what do I do next as I have a month left? What is the transit time on AP's?

Thanks and have a great day!
