You got approved so your card is coming. Just few more waiting day, Jame!
May i ask you a question. After transfered to VSC and before receiving approval letter, how many email did VSC send to you? Could you go to a little detail in each letter? I want to make kind of comparison to mine for some assumption about how correctly my case is going now. Thanks!
After the transfered to VSC letter, we didn't receive any other letters or emails before the approval lettercame.

The card just came in the mail! It took 6 days. What a load lifted!
Ack! We share the same card-production-ordered date, but no card came today. Maybe it's because you're in or near Orlando, and it takes the postal service another day to get mail farther south to Miami. Or maybe the card was stolen by a desperate undocumented immigrant . . . .
Hang in there James! It should come any time now. Look on your chart, most of the others got the card within 5 to 10 days after the notice email. We are about 50 miles south of Orlando.
Did you get an email after the card-production-ordered email, that said, Approval notice sent? That was sent the 20th and got the card 2 days later. They mailed the card on the 20th.
"Approval notice sent"? No, we received a second email on the 19th that was just a duplicate of the email we received on the 16th. We never got anything indicating that the card was actually sent.
We got the, card-production-ordered email on the 15th and a duplicate on the 16th. Then on the 20th we got the Approval notice sent email, and that was the day they mailed the card.

Current Status: Approval notice sent.
On May 20, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this CRI89

follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the
notice, call customer service.

I think you will get the Approval notice sent email today. And when they snail mail that to you, that is the green card. It took 4 days after the second email and 2 more days for the card.

I hope things speed up now and the wait is ending. Good luck to everybody!
-
congrats! In addition to the return address, did it say "do not forward" or "retunr service requested" anywhere?
Thank you, it was sent out on the 20th. No, it doesn't have anything else written on the envelope.

baunzerbrudi, the return address is: 75 Lower Welden Street, St. Albans, VT 05479
But the zip code on the postmark is 40701.
I wouldn't trust the address change either because of the experience we had. We almost didn't get the first green card because we moved from IN to FL and it went to the first address and the letter got sent back because they said they don't forward. Hope you have better luck.

Did you notice that they up dated the CIS site now to April 01,2007. If that means anything.
-
I was wondering if maybe they go by case numbers.
-
Thank you for the good wishes. I won't believe it until I see the card! At least they are making moves again in the office.
First letter of last name is F.
-
I got the email 5-16-08 at 10:30 AM Eastern
-
I didn't check my email for a few days and wasn't expecting an email for a while yet. But good news!
Application Type: CRI89 , PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED
Current Status: Card production ordered.
On May 15, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you.

Congratulations everyone that got approved! At least things are moving along.

Nothing new for us. Our name starts with F. I emailed cis and asked when they were going to update their site. No reply yet or ever I suppose.
-
Never mind! Thanks anyway to anyone who might have answered. I just found out how to look it up on the uscis website.
-
No new news from us either. It is just making us very nervous. I'm sorry to ask a stupid question but what does RFE stand for. I didn't know where to look it up, but was thinking it stood for denial. I hope that isn't in our future.
-
As somebody said, there is only one cis, and they did take our money before they took yours so we should be first.
-
I was just wondering about something. In the last letter that came....

What about this line?....
You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done, counting from when USCIS received it.
Doesn't that mean when USCIS received it in Texas, before the transfer?

We don't know what all this means, but it is driving us crazy too! It helps to be able to read on the forum and know that we are not alone.

Hi, I've been reading these posts daily from the day that I joined. I have tried to post everyday with no luck for some reason so I had the reauthorization email sent again and now it works.
Anyway this forum is great! My husband filed the papers in May,2007. Like most of you he was Transfer from Texas to Vermont on Jan. 31, Touch on Feb. 4th, Touched on Feb. 22 and again on Feb. 26th with an email of pending case and now again. His email didn't mention an interview.

Congrats James! I thought you would hear something today.
