So I'm currently confused about what to do. I want the "Return package with Signed & Sealed ROM and Receipt" to where me and my wife are currently staying in Manila. But I want whatever gets delivered 6months from now to be send to my house in the USA. Should the Return Shipping envelope with the prepaid shipping and tracking number be addressed to where we are in Manila or to my USA address?

I just read this topic which is 6 years old now: And a few of the commenters are implying that the CFO in Cebu tends to be more lax than in Manila. My wife just had her CFO interview in manila and it didn't go well they are asking her for: 1. Report on Marriage (I don't have this yet so during our interview we showed them her CENOMAR and also I have a 13a philippine marriage visa with an acr i card that's been approved that was shown and a document from the philippine BI showing we are legally married) 2. A Police record in my country 3. My Work ID?!?!?!? But yeah I'm wondering, is it still true that the Cebu office is more lenient? Would it be worth it to make a trip to Cebu instead of me travelling all the way back to the US to get my work id?

Update: Actually it turns out we got the visa!!! Initially it was refused on Jan 8th but then they changed it to Issued on the 10th and again on the 13th.

Update: After sending back our State of Utah Marriage certificate with a CENOMAR, we got Refused again. Still waiting to get back about why we got refused. We only were notified on the site itself with no details. Here is one of the response emails they sent a while ago about why she got the denial at the interview. Based off this email and what they say on the travel.state.gov site, she should not be getting denied since their only purpose is to make sure she's not married to anyone else. This is such contradictory nonsense.

Nope I had no idea I needed to do that at the time. I'm hearing that it takes like 6 months to get an ROM recognized by PSA and that it needs to be sent to the DFA in SanFrancisco. Is that true? or is there some way to do it directly in the USEM?

We did have the CENOMAR and it was checked during prescreening. However according to my wife, during the interview they asked her if she had an Advisory on Marriages and she said no and that's when she got denied. I'll try sending in the CENOMAR again and see what they say.

Bumping this topic: So me and my wife just got denied a visa because we didn't have an "Advisory on Marriages". We got married online through the state of Utah. on the screenshot posted above it literally says: "If you are married: Your original marriage certificate, and English translation. If celebrated in the Philippines – bring an Advisory on Marriage obtained from the PSA. You may visit the PSA website at https://psa.gov.ph to request this document. " we should only need the Advisory on marriage "If celebrated in the Philippines" but we still got denied because of it....

Me and my wife became Documentarily Qualified on December 15th. I was wondering if while we are waiting for our interview date we can apply for the I-601 waiver so we can get a religious exemption for the vaccines. Everywhere I'm hearing, people are saying that applying for that extends the process which leads me to believe that you can only apply for that after the medical exam. Is that right? Or am I allowed to apply in parallel?
