A few days ago we received an email from the embassy with a pre-interview appointment. It is scheduled just over two weeks before the actual interview. As far as I can tell the purpose of the pre-interview is to check that all paperwork is in order. The list of required documents contains contradictory statements regarding translation of civil documents. So to be on the safe side we are going to get all CR issued Spanish language documents translate to English.
Overnight we received the email from NVC with our Interview appointment. It had been just over 4 weeks since we’d been Documentarily Qualified. The appointment is for August 16, 2 months and a day from the day of scheduling.
