    Regarding RFE for K-1 Visa...

    Hello everyone :)

    I was just wondering... we filed for K-1 Visa in June and we received the NOA1 on 24th June. So it's been 3 months now, the last time they touched our petition was 9th July and we haven't heard from the USCIS since. So I was wondering, how long does it take them to let you know about RFEs? 3 months have passed and we've got no news... so does that mean we've steered clear of RFEs? To those who have been issued RFEs, how long did it take for them to let you know?

    Hope someone can shed some light on this :)

    Yeah, we were touched i think only twice before our NOA 2. So it doesen't mean that you'll get an RFE, they'll let you know just in time, and they will also let you know, why they gave it to you and what they need... So I would say, you guys are totally fine, and you don't have to worry about REF's...

    Hey just wanted to hear how May filers at CSC are getting on? I got my NOA1 on June 3rd so am keen to know how close I could be to my NOA2. So far best i've seen is someone who got NOA1 on May 12th!

    We had to wait 3 months for our NOA2, and after that everything was SO fast. We were done and I entered to the US in 6 months after we started the whole K1 process.

    If you enter the US on a b2 visa to get married I believe this is illigal...

    not sure...so anyone???

    To enter to the States on the B2 visa and get married is illegal. But one of my friend just did it, and they are married like 7 years ago... she's still illegal and can not do what she really wants... they already has 2 kids and they was born in the US, so they can stay but there is still a chance that the gov will send her back to Hungary without her kids... :S So my advice is to do this K1, it is so much easier and it is worth it!!!! :)

    I read in the guide that digital photos should be printed at a place like kodak but has anyone printed their own with a house printer? colored of course...

    Well, that's what I did! I printed at home, but they do not even asked me for it, because my fiance was there with me at the interwiev! And that was enough, he was the real proof of our relationship! I am from Hungary, actually, SO I HAVE NO IDEA HOW IS IT WORKS WITH OTHER EMBASSIES!!!!!!!!!

    HEY VJ FAMILY! QUICK QUESTION...I AM STARTING TO RESEARCH INTO TICKET PRICES FOR MY FIANCE (INTERVIEW IS IN DECEMBER) AND I REALLY DO NOT KNOW IF YOU ARE FILLING FOR A K1 YOU ARE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE A ROUND TRIP TICKET. I HAVE HEARD YOU HAVE TO BUY A ROUNDTRIP, BECAUSE THE PERSON IS NOT GUARANTEED A CITIZEN. IS THIS INCORRECT OR TRUE AND WHY?

    ALSO, I WANTED TO GET TIPS FROM YOU GUYS ON WHAT SITE TO VISIT THAT WOULD BE BEST TO BUY THE TICKET.

    32, Do you intent to work in the U.S.? (If yes, give the name and complate address of U.S. employer.)

    And there is a same question about studying somewhere...

    Okay, of course i wanna work and study there, but i have no clue where, yet...i mean i have ideas, but i didn't do anything for those b/c i'm not there. If you guys know what i mean...

    I got the text from my seet Mariya at 330 in the morning VISA APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!! :dance::dance::dance: We are both sooooooooooooooooooooo happy!!!!! :dance: Have been waiting for this for awhile!!!!!!! Will write areview and give more information out later! Thank you everyone for all your support and always answereing all our questions!!!!! And good luck to all of those who are in their visa process and on the way to being back together with your loved ones!!!! Be patient It will happen sooner then you think :yes:

    Vaccinations for the Medical

    Hey guys.

    Just received the info to arrangement my medical and would like your thoughts on the vaccinations. Would you recommend having them done at your doctor's or wait for the medical? The costs look quite steep, in addition to the exorbitant bill for the check up, but it's not clear if all are required. I assume I'll be able to get confirmation of the ones I've had from my GP. But any further information would be appreciated. Cheers.

    I dont know if this would help for you...but i called the doctor from that list and ask an appointment for the medical exam...then she said without question that i need to get two vaccinations (DiTe, MMR) before i go for the medical...so after when i took my HIV and syphillis test i called the doctor and ask a date for the medical. And then i got my HIV and syphillis test on tuesday, and wednesday morning i got my vaccinations and after i went to the doctor on the same day to get the medical...

    Will denial of Visiting visa affect my K1?

    Mmmmmm. When i was in Canada in 2006. I was going to visit the States by car. They wouldnt let me in and turned me away back to Canada, reason was, i didnt have a return ticket. They didnt stamp my passport. Will i have to explain that for when we file the K1

    Yes I believe you will. I know my fiancee needs to state what happened in her denial.

    Was your fiance denied a tourist visa or was she denied entry at the POE?

    Now I know I have been complaining a lot about how slow the CSC is, and really this is a shock. I am so shocked because I expected it in June. Maybe they are starting to pick up the pace. Keep your heads up CSC filers!!
