Just wanted to check if anybody had any experience on the following.

I applied for I129F for my fiancee on 03/30/08. My fiancee wanted to resign from her job and move to the US as soon as the visa is approved. When she broke the news to her managers, my fiancee was offered a transfer to USA office of the company and was offered L-1 (inter company transfer) visa for her. As far as I know, it is much faster and easier to get that visa.

Does anybody have any experience with this? Do you know if I should retract original 129F application before her company applies for L-1?

Hello everybody,

I am getting ready to file 129F application and I need a clarification on one item in VJ guide.

One of the documents needed, as per VJ guide, is front and back copy of certificate of naturalization. The issue with this is that the back is empty, or at least it seams so, thus I want to make sure I am not sending blank pages with my application for nothing.

Do I still need the copy of back page? I just want to be 100% certain that I am sending the right documentation and want to avoid any mistakes on my part.

Thanks everyone for their response. I will also look into getting merried outside of USA and doing DCF before proceeding, but K-1 visa definitely looks like a winner for now.

Hello everyone,

I am engaged and am looking for the best and fastest way to bring my fiancee to the USA.

My fiancee currently holds 3yr, multiple entry tourist visa to the USA. We are looking for the fastest way to bring her to the USA and obtain a work permit for her.

1) If we file for K-1 visa for her, during the visa processing, would she be able to enter US on her tourist visa?

2) Once my fiancee gets K-1 visa, would she be able to work once she enters US? If not how fast can she obtain work permit?
