this process has been very easy for us, just a little confusing

we're just waiting for interview now, every day i go to the postbox hoping for the letter from embassy!

I dunno, somtimes i think they do that stuff just to confuse us.

that's exactly what my husband says!

i have basically been in charge of the forms, he and i sat down one days and filled out together, then i did all the actual collection of docs and have been on top of it

he has no idea what is ds 230 or ds 2001

am i insane? i never got a checklist of any kind

i sent in ds 230 part one

then ds 2001 saying we were ready for the interview (we sent that the friday of easter weekend and we're waiting for appt, which they said takes a few weeks)

we had a list of all the things we needed to get ready for the interview, and we got the i864

but we never got an official "checklist" should i call our embassy and see if we're missing something? thanks for insight!

i havent submitted yet

but i rang embassy

and asked if i needed to state how it would be transfered

and i just wrote a later

stating we will transfer husbands money using a simple wire transfer to my already established american account

and i gave name and address of account

hopefully this will be sufficient proof?

yes, today over the phone

our embassy told us

we had 1 year from |I30 approval

my husband just got packet for dr's appt in dublin

the following are the 3 dublin docs to choose from

DR tim Gleeson in black rock

dr patrick kelly dublin 9

dr damien rutledge dublin 4

there's also a cork and a galway doc if u need it let me know

we got our next packet of info

it was D230 and D2001 (sorry those numbers may be wrong, this is from memory)

and we got the directions to download I 864

also got directions for other things we need to do (specific doctors, police certs)

it's a ton of work! but i feel so good that we did the I 130 right, you know?

we filed our i130 in feb

and 3 weeks to the day got our next packet

the next steps much more involved, eh?

we are mailing our i130 today to our local us embassy in ireland!
