    The reason why i raised this question is to ensure that there will not be any issue when i will file for my citizenship. At the time of interview they may ask me that you did not remain with your sponsor company for XYZ period therefore we are denying for citizenship. Just want to ensure that there is no set of limited period mention in the rule book that you need to stay before switching. My work contract doesn't mention any time duration.

    Is there any time duration that i need to work with my Green card sponsor Company or i can switch anytime i want.

    @OldUser My Green card is permanent with a validity of 10 years. I got it after applying under EB3. My employer sponsor my GC.

    Hi, I am on E2 visa and last week i got my green card. I want to know are there any requirements that i need to ensure before forfeiting my E2 status. Coz i am planning to sell my corporation on which i applied my E2 visa.

    I raised this issue before but didn't get proper response. I filed under EB3 and my PD is 06/13/2022. Since very long my status on USCIS website says "we have temporarily pausing work on your application because an immigration number is not immediately available to you. Once an immigration number is available to you, we will resume processing of your application". I need to know is this normal or its something exceptional.

    I applied under EB3. But since very long my status says “We are temporarily pausing work on your application because an immigration visa number is not immediately available to you….”. My question is why this status is not changing, my priority date since last four months is within the final action date as per visa bulletin. Is this normal time or is it rare.

    My I-785 is approved but when I checked my status on I-485 they say “We are temporarily pausing work on your application because an immigrant visa number is not immediately available to you. Once an immigrant visa number becomes immediately available to you, we will resume processing of your application”. Can anyone knows what this status means and how much time it can approximately takes.
