My sweet little Claudeth is a wonderful, giving woman but is also the most irresponsible person I have ever met in my life. I never seen anyone melt a bar of soap before but she does it. She can plug up the shower drain quickly and just loves to take 30 or 45 minute showers twice a day. She leaves the lights on constantly and the refrigator open all the time. She will fill her plate full of food and eat about 1/4 of it and the rest goes in the trash.

I am totally at my wits end. I have been dealing with this for 4 1/2 years but have made no progress in teaching her conservation. I love her very much and would never dream of getting rid of her but have been thinking of sending her to the Philippines for a visit.

Has anyone else had this problem? I have heard comments off and on but nothing consistant with what my little consumer does.

Well you say you love her very much and won't conider leaving her. She must have other redeeming qualities... I would sit dowwn with her and ask her to do a simple exeercize with you. On a sheet of paper you will each write ten thing that you like about each other and 10 things that you do not like.... and then discuss each other's lists with one another... You may realize that both of you have things to improve for the other. If you love each other you can pick one thing per week to improve or change for your partner...

My fiancee just recieved her VISA, and now I am going to purchase the plane ticket. The only thing that I worry about is buying a plane ticket and it will be in my name, and they will want to check my ID, and my CC to pick it up. How can I purchase it, and get it in her name so she can get it with no problems? Thanks ahead of time.

Just make sure she is the listed passenger.... and amke sure her name is written just like in her passport.

My wife is a little more than 7 months pregnant and we are just starting the NVC process and I will submit the forms tomorrow.

The DS-230 asks if we have kids which I assume as of right now the answer is technically no.

My question is, if I answer no on all the forms for having no kids and then they find out she is pregnant, or even if she has the baby

RIGHT before the interview, what would happen?

Honesty is the BEST policy. Disclose your wife's pregnancy.... otherwise it could be interpreted that maybe the child is "not yours" as you did "not know" about the pregnancy at the time you filed the paperwork. It is best to be upfront and honest....

My wife came here on a K1, we got married within the 90 days but due to a series of events which included a change of jobs (for the better) a move to a different state, delayed medical etc etc we are just now getting to doing her AOS... anyone know about the consequences for this?

I am confused as to the amount of fees that I need to send in. My wiofe came here on a K1 visa. I am now filing the AOS I485 and all the froms mentioned in the guide. G325A, I864 and medical etc etc. So my question is--is the I-131 needed... I would like for us to be able to travel to Mexico in December... and go to the Philippines before she gets her green card. Is that what the I-131 allows? Also if I have seen two total fees for AOS $1,010 and about $1,300 is that because of the additional fee for I-131? Help!

I recently called a civil surgeon in the Ft Lauderdale Area. My wife only needs her vaccines updated. After talking to the secreta=ry and finally talking to the doctor she stated she would not sign off on the vaccines unless a full physical is done cause her license is at stake. She also rationalized her fee by stating that INS (she's obviously not updated) requires the Gardasil vacine ($200 additional) for all women undwer a certain age as of August first. Is this true?

Most want to repeat the whole medical exam and charge a fee accordingly.

My fiancee only needs a doctor to transcribe her vaccine record to the form. she had her record update by the Broward county Health Department.

My 21 day visit in the Philippines is due to expire June 5th and our flight is June 9th... does anyone know what the penalty is for overstaying the 21 days. Someone advised me that the penalty would be less than applying for an extension of the visitors visa, is this true?

By the way my fiancess interview was May 27th... we received her visa to the US May 31st.

My cosponsor is frompuerto rico ...they dont file fed taxes there just PR taxes.... any thoughts on this?

The only thiong I got from NVC was a letter saying that our case would be forwarded to the embassy that was like 3 weeks or more ago.. our interview is set for May 27th...help!!!

The items to which you refer are not applicable to K visas. They are immigrant visa appicable only. IR1/CR1

Hello we have our embassy interview scheduled for May 27th... I am going wwith my fiancee... What is this packet 3? Is this the same thing as the documents required by the embassy for the interview that I found on the website? When do those docs have to be at the embassy? Before th einterview or can they be brought on the day of the interview?

If you request visa pick up do you stil have to pay document delivery fee? should this fee be paid in advance?

From al that I have read attendance at the interview is not mandatory but highly recommended and believe me I wil do everything possible to be there once an interview date is set. As it stands we received NOA2 ON March 17TH and there's a strong possibility that her interview wil be in May..if however her interview is in June I will not be able to go as that is the start date of an intensive 6 week program that I teach.. I just wanted to hear from anyone that has not attended the interview as to any complications...

I would agree with what everuyone has said thus far.... I to am new to this site and I first met my fiancee in person in September. I returned in December and we spent the Chritsmas and New Years holidays together.... I wish I could return in April but don't think iot wil be possible but Ithink the more you can visit it will help with the inetview process...

Hi I filed K-1 Petition at California Service Center it was marked as received by the service center on Nov 15 ,2007 and it has only been touched once since then on 1`2/12/07...should I be worried? I just checked the latest timeline and I guess they are holdiong constant to the 6 month processing time... if anyone has any insight it'sd be3 much appreciated.
