Good day all, My wife got her green card back in April of last year, it expires in October 2010, so we were going to do the removal of restrictions paperwork the 60 days prior like required.

But, I just received orders for the Horn of Africa for a 10 month Deployment, since it's a deployment she will stay in Guam were we are stationed right now. I depart in Feb of 2010 so my question is there any special form or place to contact to see about doing the paper work early in lieu of military orders overseas .

Without the extension she would not be able to travel outside of Guam from October until January until I return, meaning no visits to her family in the Philippines during the holidays since the green card will have expired.

Any advice on this would be helpful.

Congrats, Still waiting on ours, We got a approval letter dated on the 5th and still says approval letter sent on the 5th on the site, Hopefully we'll get the one you have saying the card is ordered.

Congrates, How long after your approval message did you receive the notice saying production of the card was ordered. My wife got her approval notice 2 days ago it was approved on the 5th of November.

Just checking to see where they actually come from. Will they come from the place you originally filed your paperwork in Chicago or do they come from the local office that your spouse was interviewed at. We got the approval letter that was mailed on the 5th just curious how long until the green card shows up since we are in Guam. I'm trying to get my wife to Japan because she will work for her sister that has been there for 14 years while I'm in Iraq until late Spring.

I have a question since my wife said the lady that did here interview at her biometrics appointment said if she travels outside the US it counts against the time time she can apply for citizenship, To me this seems a bit ridicoulous. Her green card is approved and on the way. Say she can apply for citizenship in November 15 2012. But if she goes to Japan to stay with her sister since I am in Iraq and stays for 5 months then she cannot apply until April 2013? I'm not sure I'm buying what the local office here in Guam is saying about that.

Does anyone have a link to the instruction about this or are they just plain nuts.

Thank god, Now my wife won't be stuck in Guam since I'm rotting over here in Iraq. Hopefully she gets it in the next few weeks, The site says 30 days.

I submitted her green card application back in June, we got the letters from immigration back in late August with the MSC number but it does not show up online. She had the biometrics a September 8th. And we are still waiting on the travel document. How long does i normally take.

The MSC number does not pull up online and when we call immigration we get three different answers, 2 to 3 weeks, 2 to 3 months, and still pending. So I don't know what to think. Since they are always giving a different answer when she calls.

We have a MSC number but when you put it in to check the status all I get is this message, The one for the green card works fine.

* Case Status Retrieval Failed

Now the wait begins

Well it has taken over a month to get it and tons of hassles but she finally has her visa and will be going to CFO tomorrow morning and flying to Guam at 10pm tomorrow night. At least she has a short flight to get here.

Sometimes it gets busy, It's best to call in the AM there time.

They have once again proved why people can't rely on them. We have faxed in 2 times the change of address called the rep to change it, And guess what they still tried to deliver to the wrong address today even after all that and the DS forms have the new address on them as well. Good god people

First of all the pay for into line is a complete waste of time, You can just call 63 2301 2000 dial 0 and ask for immigrante visa and get detailed info for free. The toll line does not even know of the other number so don't bother asking them. They do not communicate either. Even if the visa has been released and out for delivery the pay line still says processing at embassy.

Now Delbros, Website is useless and even if you call they still don't have there info strait, Called to see if visa was out for delivery they say still processing at embassy, I tell them the embassy said it was relesed on Friday then they transfer me to anouther number and say. Ohhh it's out for delivery. Fiancee text delbros, it comes back still processing at embassy. Call back again. Ohhh should be there tomorrow. Get it together guys. Oh did I mention website, well here it is again, completly and totaly useless, Looked on it for a month and it never worked but 1 time and thats after the visa was out for delivery and it said no data. Someone greased someones hands for this contract. Something as important as this should not be in the hands of a company that has a website that works 1 hour a day.

Doc verification is taking a long time for alot of people now so make sure you pay for it early. The forum was very helpfull in everything, no need to ever hire a lawyer to do your case it will only slow things down for you.

Hopefully Mylenes visa will be here today so I can fly her to Guam tomorrow night, At least only a 3 hour flight

Even though they said the visa was printed and was going to be relesed Friday it still has not, So sick of dealing with these people. So still waiting on the stupid visa

Congrates, I hope we get ours soon, They said they had printed it Friday and should be released at 5pm but Delbros did not have it yet when i called.

Very sad to here, at least she entered the country legally, I don't know how they are going to force her out when 12 million others and counting are doing it on a daily basis on our borders. Hopefully she can find some support and help.

Called today and the visa will be released tomorrow for delivery. God that was a long wait, finally my baby will be here next week.

63 2301 2000 x5184 Just ask for info on your visa or immigrate visa. its not the call center who is worthless for any detailed answers.

hi quam, i just wanted to ask if you don't mind.. where you going in the US? and what wrong with your case is it because of the documents verification? did the USEM gave you a 221g sheet for doc. verification? sorry if i asked you a lot im just worried about mine coz my interview is just last march 12 one day ahead before your interview and then i still don't have my visa til now!! and im scared texting delbros..

It was just waiting on the document verification we never had a request for additional documents, I am stationed in Guam not the US so only 3 hours from the PI $350 plane tickets have made it bearable. Delbros web site has never worked for me this entire time, and i try it all hours of the day and I am only 2 hours ahead of Manila. Its useless just call the number.

Thanks everyone. All I know is that the paperwork got back from the NSO 2 days ago. It was delievered 14MAR08 and now it's approved.

Called today and the visa will be released tomorrow for delivery. God that was a long wait, finally my baby will be here next week.

I will bet you paid the document verification fee when you had your interview and are now waiting for that to be completed. Did you pay 2 fees? one for delbros delivery and then 650php for document verification?

If you paid the document verification fee at your interview, then you could be waiting from 3 to 6 weeks.

Don't hold your breath of it getting there in time for your flight make alternate plans just in case. We have been waiting for 28 days so for and still no visa. All I get when I call is they say its still being reviewed or still processing.

Yes I have called the Embassy I call them pretty much everyday. I just got of the phone again with them not more than 5 minutes ago, They say the same thing, the case is still under review I normally get some new and totally contradictory info every time I call, This time they said the case was updated on the 31st for a New NBI, no reason was giving why a new one was needed. Now the lady says it can be a maximum of 3 months WTH over, first it's 6 weeks from the interview date. They did give me a email to use to request expedited we'll see if I even get a reply back from that, Dealing with gov agencies there is nightmare.

The other big problem is she is moving at the end of the month and no matter what you do, with the embassy to send in a change of address they never update it in there system even after you talk to the rep and fax it in. The address she is at now is what is one the DS form and we need to make sure the visa gets delivered when ever that is

30 days this weekend I know it's bad but it makes it hard when you see people get it in a week or a few days after the interview. Especially when I had to fly back by myself.
