  1. As for me, honestly, I am happy now that I hav a better life than my life before, before I met my fiance. I wouldn't hav what I hav now if I didn't meet him. He help me and my family financially just enough. But, to tell u, that's not the reason I want to marry him. I'm gonna marry him 'coz I love him truly. He's just an average guy in USA. He's just a teacher. There are still some foreign men who are better than him financially. But, I chose my fiance 'coz he's the one I love, the one I wanna grow old with, to take good care of, to serve, to be the father of my children. Some of my relatives and people here told me to find somebody else who can give me lots of stuffs and money. But still, I fight for him, despite of their mockings 'coz he's not as rich as the others. I even rejected them because of him. He makes me happy. I am happy seeing him online everyday. He made me a better person. And I'm willing to sacrifice everything, to wait for more years, for him. I don't care if he's not wealthy, just as long as I know he loves me, too. And eversince, I like to marry a foreigner. I am not attracted to Filipino guys. That's why my fiance now is my first boyfriend and first love and gonna be my last :)
  2. Hi Friends.

i am first time here and i hope,i will get some information regarding K1 visa. On 14 Jan,2009 I got my I-129F approval. i checked my online status and there was written...

Your I-129F application has been approval and its sent to NVC.

So have any one Experience..like How long time will take NVC to send Document to Abroad Consulate/Embassy, where my finance will apply K1 visa.

    Thanks

    Harry

Your case will probably be sent abroad by the time you receive that NVC letter in the mail, which will be about a week after you receive your NOA2 in the mail.

    > Hi :-h Are u from Rochester, New York? My fiance's from there, too :) But, we haven't hav our I-129F Notice of Approval yet :( Btw, congrats

  3. thank you lord!!!

hi guys, i'm so happy today coz we recieved our NOA2 without recieving any e-mails from CRIS site, and without even touches!!! we got our hard copy last Nov.14, 2008 and they approved Nov. 10, 2008. Thank you so much lord finally we can start our journey now, and to all the filers there who are still waiting, just keep your faith to the lord.

by the way guys, i just wanna ask what's the next thing to do after we got this NOA2 approval!!

thank you visa journey family, i hope you will continue to guide me in my journey!!!!!

    Congrats! I'm hapi for u :)

  4. Awwwwww I'm soooooooooo sorry to hear that. :( Why did they deny you the first time? :( Listen, I know you've been waiting longer than we have & if it hurts us like hell, I can ONLY imagine how much more it hurts you guys. Don't worry, things will be better for you second time around. ;) Just stay positive & HAVE FAITH! :) May God finally grant you & your fiance a SMOOTH & SPEEDY approval. Good luck & best wishes. You're both in my prayers. :)

I yearn for him a lot, too :crying:

It was lack of documents, not just one, but lots. It's ok, don't u worry, I yearn for him a lot, but, I just go with the flow this time :) And I like the good news to come as a surprise, so, I don't expect much. Like, one day, I just realize, I already hav the visa in my hand :D But, I do appreciate ur concern :) I know, He has better plan for us, maybe not our time yet, but I know, someday, it will come :) Better things come to those who wait, as they said. I love him truly and I'm willing to wait for him, no matter what :X

  5. Hello!

Can a foreign national stay here in the Philippines for 21 days without securing visa? If so, what department we need to contact to verify on that?

    Thanks!

    YES

USC can stay in the Philippines for 21 days without a visa.

Enjoy. I am jealous of you :D

    ... me, too ... :(

  6. I'm so upset today. It's been 5 days already since we send money to my mum. Untill now she doesn't get the money yet. I can't believed that it take so long for them to process the transaction:((

Hmmm... never happened to me yet in XOOM. I got the money immediately ( unless they are offline ). They are faster now than before.

  7. HI sis! make sure u have saved ur talks at the archive, then I copy-pasted them to microsoft word..I printed 5 pages only for each talk, 3 dates/month..(March 2007-Oct.2008), GUESS WHAT? not even one was asked from me

But as I kept telling u, won't hurt being over prepared.

    Good luck!

    Congrats! ;)

  8. Hi girl, first of all Welcome to VJ and may God bless your journey :)

I was just intrigue, why would USCIS disapproved your petition? This seldom happens...

Hi Gurl, good luck for the journey  But I am kinda intrigue like " tedjen". How come your petition were denied at the USCIS even though you and your fiancee met in person  . Just wonderin. God Bless you and Good luck to all of our VJ.

Yep, everybody did get intrigued :D It was lack of documents. He didn't submit lots of documents. So they decided to deny us. We haven't received any RFEs too. But well, it happened. Now, getting started again :)

  9. We just received our NOA1 3 days ago  Received date is Oct. 20, 2008, notice date is Oct. 21, 2008. My Baby sent our I-129F last Oct. 17. I'm happy for it though not yet approved. At least, we're getting closer :) We're just waiting now for USCIS approval. Hopefully this time, we will be lucky already. It's been our 2nd time. And we'd been in LDR for almost 3 years already :( I want to be My Baby's wife and his children's mom already :D How I yearn for him a lot :(

  10. Sorry to hear. The embassy doesn't send RFEs, that would be the service centers. If the embassy doesn't believe your relationship is a valid one they can return the petition to the NVC for further processind including denying the petition. What kind of evidence did you submit to prove you have a valid, ongoing relationship?

she said the NOID was from USCIS.

Yeah, I said from USCIS, not from the embassy

  11. calling USCIS might not get any additional information. your fiance may have to wait until the packet is returned to see a detailed description of what is missing. without knowing exactly what the Notice of Intent to Deny says, would only be speculating as to the reason. hopefully it's something that can be easily resolved.

USCIS didn't say there whats the missing docs. So my fiance will just call them to clarify everything since they gave him their contact no. And he also gonna go there personally. Hopefully, everything will be okay. He has an option to make an appeal, too.

  12. My Baby just received the denial notice from USCIS last night ( Philippines time ). The reason why we're denied is lack of documents. I was wondering, if that's the reason, why they didn't send us an RFE about that? Even just in our emails. They just denied us that fast w/o even telling us to pass the missing documents first. And they sent us the denial notice 3 months after they received our petition. We even hav our case number. My Baby gonna call them tonight ( Philippines time ) to make clear of the decision. I even told him to pls. ask them why they didn't send us the RFE first before making the denial decision. Even at first, we're wondering why they denied us on that stage. So strange. They gave us their contact no. So we know if we hav to make an appeal or maybe, we'll just send them the missing documents. Hopefully, the latter. 'Coz I really want to be with My Baby asap. I really DO miss him a lot. And I want to make a family w/ him. Appealing can make the processing longer than 6 months. And it's so looong.....:crying:
  13. Thanks everyone for the concerns. I do really appreciate it. Don't u worry, we're not giving up. If u love, u don't give up. I'm still determined and hopeful. Yeah, I'm feeling sad and disappointed now. But, maybe, He has a better plan for us. Maybe, it's not our time yet. We still hav hopes. I can wait. I already waited for more than 2 years. And I still can. Life goes on...
  14. Last Feb. 02, 2008, we reveived an email from USCIS telling us these: " On February 1, 2008, we mailed you a denial decision notice for this case I-129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). The notice explains why the denial decision was made and the options that may be available to you. If you have not received this notice within 30 days of the February 1, 2008, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance. " I was so shocked, speechless, sad, disappointed upon reading this. We're not expecting this to happen. I even cried. My Baby and I been so excited to be together already soon. And we already have plans for our future. He filed for me Oct. 2007. They received our petition Oct. 29, 2007. We even had our receipt no. Right now, we're waiting for the notice to arrive thru mail so we know why we're denied. And to do what we need to do. It's really struggling for both of us, wanting to live together and make our own family, to love and cherish for. But still, I don't give up, we don't. Like in the saying, " If there's still life, there's hope ".

Hey Rich and Sharon i am so sorry to hear that..Che-che told me and I could not believe it.

I would hope it is something simple...If i can help at all feel free to call me ..you can get my number from Che-che

    Keep the faith !

    Eddie

Thanks Ed. Yeah, we're really disapponted and sad when we received that email. After long time of waiting and yearning each other. But don't u worry, I think we still hav hopes. They said there, we hav options. They didn't say we can't file anymore. We're just waiting for the notice. Then, we will do what we need to do asap. We're not giving up. If we give up, nothing will happen. I'm glad I hav Che as one of my friends. I'm happy for both of u. Hope everything will go well with ur papers. Hopefully, she will be with u this March already. Goodluck and God bless.

  15. We're just waiting for the denial notice now to arrive thru mail. They stated there why we're denied and what are our other options. And then, do what we need to do asap.

I see. In the meantime, I think there are some things you can begin to verify immediately, based upon what was stated as the common reasons for such a denial as you have received. According to JandM and K und O, the following are the conditions that must be met/ If not, the I-129F fiancee visa petition will not be considered and approved, by USCIS:

There are few reasons for a denial of the I-129f petition.

    1. petitioner did not establish US cititzenship

    2. petitioner did not establish termination of previous marriages

    3. missing documents

    4. unanswered RFE or inadequate response to RFE

    5. too many petitions without a waiver request

    6. Not having met in person within the past two years

If you meet all of the conditions above, make sure you have your documentation in order. (1) If you're a US citizen, have your passport, birth certificate and/or certificate of naturalization copied. (2) If you or your fiancee is previously divorced, have certified copies of divorce decrees ready to go. (3) Make sure you go through what you submitted previously (hopefully you have a copy) to assure that you did not neglect to submit a necessary page. (4) Hopefully you did not receive any Requests for Further Evidence-RFE's that you did not reply to, becuase such a thing can trigger a denial also. (5) If you've filed other petitions in the recent past, you have to apply for a waiver before your current petition will be approved....so consider that and if this applies in your case, research this subject and how to apply for a waiver.

(6)Hopefully you and your fiancee have physically met and seen each other at least once before you filed the application. If so, include all documentation of the meeting....plane ticket stubs, passport stamps, hotel receipts, etc. You can also include some photos, but its not necessary to send too many at this stage. (I sent 6 for example).

So, while you wait for your reason of denial, you can make sure all these things are ready and available to you, so that you can turn the petition around and re-apply once you know the reason for your denial. :)

    Good luck,

    -P

He's a US citizen, we're both single, no kids, he haven't petitioned any yet, no criminal records, he's an elementary teacher, we haven't recieved any RFE and we met in person w/in the 2 yrs.

  16. Sorry to hear the bad news. As slow as USCIS is in sending out documents I would be calling them to see if they would fax the info. As mentioned earlier, contacting your local Senator or Congressman may help too.

Yep, that's what we gonna do --- we gonna hav our lawyer and contact some people in the government. So it will be easier and faster for us. We'd been waiting for a long time and it's harder if we wait again for another long time. I really want to be w/ him asap. He's the most important to me. But still, while we're waiting, he has a plan to visit me here again and stay here longer than our 1st meeting. So we won't miss each other that much.

  17. You were denied at the USCIS level? I'm so sorry! (F) As some other members stated, there are very concrete reasons why a petition would be denied at this stage? Please look at those reasons. Do you meet all the qualifications? Did you include evidence to prove all of them? The good thing is, that once you meet all the conditions, you can re-file. You may need to include a waiver, but such a denial does not preclude you from filing again. Hopefully you can get this turned around and be approved soon. :)

    Good luck,

    -P

  18. There are few reasons for a denial of the I-129f petition.

    4. unanswered RFE or inadequate response to RFE

    5. too many petitions without a waiver request

    6. Not having met in person within the past two years

We met online, Nov. 23, 2005. We became lovers, Feb. 3, 2006. We met in person July 9-22, 2007, at Cebu City.

  19. :help::help: My finacee was denied her visa today. At her medical they asked about drug use and she said she took some kind of drug 4 years ago to get thu a rough time in her life and she was denied her visa because of it. Any thing I can do to fix this and get her to us? I have never felt so bad in my life, all my hopes and dreams are gone.

We're denied, too. Just this month. But it's not hard for us 'coz we haven't processed any papers yet before we got denied. It's ok. There's still hope. Don't give up. Believe in ur love w/ each other. We can do it :)
