Hi Everybody
Even I didn't start posting since June since I just found out about this website in early Dec. I'm a June filler, after reading that most of you got already got your GC was starting to worry since I hadn't had received my interview date yet.. after 4 months for waiting (it felt like a year) a couple days ago, we got it... yeahh!!!
Does anybody has got their interview in Irving,TX? We are pretty anxious..
I have my interview in Irving also....on Feb. 19
I will let you know how it is....

thanks for ur response, yes i did call the number and they told me we will re-send it,if u didnt recieve it within 45 days call us back!!! do u think i should send my local office a letter and let them know whats going on?
Moe I dont know if a letter would help. Look at the following thread..

You would think that by calling them they would give you the date of the interview...
If they resend it already then should arrive pretty soon...just as long as it does not arrive after the cited interview date...

What the heck is goin on??? I got my EAD on the same mailing address and all the previous notices!!!!! I called them and they said we will re-send it and u should receive it within 45 days,if not, contact us back!! i am afraid this notice tells the appt date and i am gonna miss it and then i will end up getting a denial in the mail of not goin to the interview and i dont know what i am gonne do ,
any help will be appreciated .

So I'm happy and nervous to bet back in the race....
Just one question when it states as "Initial" Interview does that imply that their will be more ?

Moe1985 your time line is similar to mine but I had the delay with my RFE , so I agree that the "undelivered letter" might be your Interview Notice...
On my Interview Notice it gives you a tel. number : 1-800-375-5283 in case you need to change your appt. date.
Is this the same number you already called and if not try calling them and with your application number??

Looks like cases received early June are not being transferred as fast as cases received at the end of the month. That could be a trend or just an improved email communication process for new cases. Not sure if all early June cases are being email notified.
With all this Transfer situation I have noticed that most if not all of the Transfers are CSC (CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER) , Maybe the timeliness for people not in California are different.
Personally we are from Texas , Has anyone from Texas had their case transfered?

Any touches from ppl who had biometrics on July 11? Still nothing for me.
I'm from the group who had biometrics on July 11, One touch on the I-485, on that same date...
But I would not worry if you didn't get any touch yet

Any June 16 NOAers receive their biometric letter yet?
Not us and USCIS has nothing showing either. So no clue...
Nothing here either, checked todays mail but still no Biometric letter,,

Have practically all my paperwork ready, just had a few questions so went to see an attorney.
Told me everything looked ok, but was supprised that he suggested that people entering with a B-2 visa consider overstaying
a couple of months after 1-94 expired in order to reduce even more risk of being considered with Intent of Immigration.
Thought that was weird .....Is it worth being out of status for 2 more months, instead of filing before permit expires????

We do still have a lease from Mexico, So I think that could help and the fact that I just bought a house here.
But I will follow your suggestions and consult an attorney prior to filling.

I have read several opinions regarding entering with B-2 visitor visa and then applying for AOS, but
I guess it depends a lot on the circumstances regarding intent, so here are mine...
- I am a USC, married my spouse about 9 years ago in Mexico, have 2 children (both USC)
- Did not apply for green card for my wife before because here residence was not in the U.S. she lived in Mexico.
- About 8 years ago she applied and received a B-2 Visa,
that she used almost every year to come and visit for a couple of months , always leaving before her permit expired.
- But this time that she entered with her B-2 visa in August , I Bought a house and opened a small business in October
and convinced her to stay and apply for the GC.
? How likely is it to be considered fraud because she entered with a B-2 visa based on our circumstances ?
? Her B-2 visa is about to expire ,does it make any difference if a send in all the paperwork for her GC before or
after her expired date, considering she is my immediate relative?
I really appreciate any opinions.

Since you both file taxes together you will need a Contract between Sponsor and Household Member (I864 A)
