    I believe you should be able to, if you are premanent resident without conditions. Who are you trying to sponsor? It depends on who you are trying to sponsor and could take years if you want them to live in the US.

    well Iam a permanent resident my husband is canadien so i waswondering if

    i could apply for him since i'm not a us citizen.do you think i will lose my greencard if

    he apply fo a canadien card?

    its been four weeks since i applied the i-90 form(because my greencard got lost n the mail)i still havent hear anything from them no receit number nothing.

    Check the dates in my signature (below) and you will see it takes months to get your new card... I e-filed the I-90 so at least I had a receipt same day as I sent it...

    MY QUESTION IS WHAT DID YOU BRING WIHT YOU FOR YOUR BIOMETRIC?

    hi guys,

    i have a little problem its been 4 weeks since i sent a I-90 LIN CENTER.

    i havent heard anything else from them I'm worry because they usualy send a letter

    saying they're receive the form but i still havent get anything from them

    I cant call since i dont have a receit number.

    SHOULD I AN ANFOPASS APP. OR SHOULD I WAIT what do you guys think?

    Just wondering why u have to send I-90?! havent u received ur GC? well, me it's been 4weeks now i have not received my GC yet nor welcome letter!! *sigh* :(

    well my case was approved in october i got the welcome letter right after no greencard i've waited for3 months

    still no greencard when i finally call them in january they told me that they sent it since october 25th got lost in the mail

    they asked me file a I-90 form but i sent it since january but still nothing from them.

    still waiting for my Greencard :(

    I am so anxious and I can’t wait to receive my GC. We’ve been approved on January 25th and until right now we haven’t received any (like welcome packet and GC). How come some people get their GC less than 2weeks? This gonna be our 3rd week waiting for my GC. Does anybody here already got their GC who got interviewed as well, in the same month of January especially those around January 15th to 31st? I keep tracking my case at USCIS but seems they haven’t updated the info since October when we submitted our RFE. My dilemma right now is, I already got my temporary driver license (which only got a piece of paper and will expire at the end of this month). I got it since December, I kept calling DMV asking where is my DL card? But they told me that the system still verifies my legal presence?! I concluded that maybe because by the time I applied I haven’t had my GC yet! But nobody from DMV told me that this will take long getting my CA I.D and DL bcuz of my GC?! I gave all the docs they needed e.g passport with visa, I94 and my EAD.. hmmm, maybe I am just too in a hurry to get everything in shape isn’t it?!

    IF I WERE YOU I WOULD CALL BECAUSE I'VE WAITED FOR MY GREENCARD FOR 3 MONTHS IN THE MAIL AFTER APPROVAL WHEN IT NEVER CAME I CALLED THEY SAID THEY MAILED IT 3 MONTHS AGO SHE SAID IT GOT LOST IN YHE MAIL SO I FILLED I-90 FORM IN JANUARY I HAVENT GOT ANYTHING FROM THEM YET.

    I had my interview appointment in Newark today. When Arriving at 8:30 a.m., they closed the whole building due to power outage (water in the basement). Quite a mess with hundreds of people trying to get in the building. At first no information given to the people waiting outside.

    Question should I just go back there tomorrow or now wait until I hear from them?

    I would go back tomorrow and see if they can squeeze you in, it wasnt your fault or there fault

    GO BACK by all means....DO NOT give them a reason to deny you. It doesn't take much---even getting a hard copy of an interview cancellation doesn't stop them from denying you. TRUST ME.... :angry:

    i everybody,its been two weeks since i sent my I90 form and still havent hear anything from them yet.

    what do you guys think?

    It is going to take a lot longer before you hear anything back.... it took me 6 months to get my new card and most other that have filled a I-90 have had to wait as long....

    We registered on the USCIS website, and haven't EVER received an email update (refer to timeline).

    i dont know i've waited for my greencard for 3 months never got it in the mail when i called them they said tha they sent it since october 25th i never got an email from them saying it was mailed but i always got email notification for all the other things they mail.i just filed a i-90 form causei believe it got lost in the mail.

    hi everyone,

    last week i made an infopass apointment and i lost all the information the

    page closed before i print it ,they say that you have to bring the letter with you at the apointement, now i dont know what to do.

    do you guys think they gonna let me in without the apointement letter for the interview?

    I doubt it. Im not sure how things are at your local office, but at ours you cant get anywhere near the window without that appointment letter. Unfortunately I dont know how to retrieve the original one either :( . If it were me Id just go make another appointment before they're all snatched up and just print the new one.

    im going to make a new appointment,but i dont know if its a problem not sowing up.

    i just want to know how long the i 90 takes to process.

    my opinion call USCIS and ask them. maybe u well get the right answer from them. because i am not sure maybe 6 months maybe less. but i dont think it will take this long..

    if i am in ur shoes i will send the form right away..

    I agrea this person is possibly very stressd ,

    and I belive he/she posted it here since her/his/, husband or wife (hell dont look at me funny am confuessed , lol ) is suposently a canadian , what I realy dont get is if the ok lets call it a spouse is a canadian and heshe is an immigrant to the US why would she aply for AOS on her/his behalf if herhis husbandwife is canadian ? isnt AOS for immigrants ( like us ) married to a USC only ?

    can ya tell am comfuessd . lol

    he didnt aply i live in the us i aply for the greencard by myself.i met him in the us now we are married he's canadian he lives in canada he comes here to visit every weekend. i understand why you all making fun of me.

    first i wanna say i'm not here to argue with anyone second i'm using my husband acc. if you feel like its so nice to make fun of me go ahead laught one day they'll laught at you dont worry i didnt hurt anyone by posting here,and you dont know my story why dont you ask me and i will tell.in october i received an email from immigration saying that my case was approved that they oder the card that it should take 3 weeks for me to get the card.i've waited for three months the card never came, when i finally call they told me that they sent the card since october 25th maybe it got lost in the mail i wanted to go cazy because i wanted to go to canada visit with my husband's family,thats when i decided to come here and ask for advice theres nothing fishy i have nohing to hide i wouldnt come here if they was something fishy please be kind enough to respect my concerns like i say before please dont reply if you have nothing to say.im going through a lot please,its hard for me to express myself because english is my second language its hard to really make people understand what you mean and feel.please stop all of you that making fun of me.

    I agree - it's difficult to understand your situation (I tried to read your previous topic but the link didn't work) since your husband is Canadian and you don't say who sponsored you, but as others said, I guess it's not important here.

    You have been given advice here - make an infopass appointment. That would be the best advice I could give.

    I'm not sure why you're getting to defensive since I didn't see anyone judge you.... but go ahead and yell at me too.
