My husband and I are curreour K-tly filling out the paperwork for my AOS. We got married a week ago I was just wondering about the following. The list of AOS forms in the downloads section includes the I-864 affidavit of support. Is this a form that has to be filled out and included with the paperwork, even if we already filled out the exact same form form for the visa procedure and so it is in my file? That just doesn't make sense. We will fill it out again if we have to, but it would save us some time if we didn't

You filed I-34 with your K-1 Visa application. I-845 is required when you file for AOS .

hey Guys, I wanted to ask you guys if it is useful going on the wife's interview in ISL Embassy. Would that help in getting the visa right away.

Your presence may support her and I recommend it but keep in mind that CO may ask you couple of questions, so be prepared. In rare instances reported at some forums , some Consular Officers have conducted separate interviews with both petitioner and beneficiary and a joint interview in order to determine the validity of relationship.

Does anyone know how long after the interview actual visa is issued for K-1? do they issue the visa same day or when? Thanks guys

It can take upto a week before you receive actual visa
