  1. :whistle: Hi, guys...

    Well, since I received work authorization, no news at all....No letters, no touches, nothing...

    Things are not going quite well between us two, so I am not even sure if we would make it for the interview, but I still do not enjoy hanging like this...

    Although, I went through our chart, and seems like a bunch of people do not even have their interview letters yet, right? How do you think, maybe I should get an info pass?

  2. Guys,

    About interview cancellations: I have a whole forum where people went for the first date scheduled anyway, and turned out officers had no idea appointments were cancelled. And on that forum, many suggest to go for the cancelled date regardless in order not to procrastinate the whole process...

    If I were you, I would at least call and not believe the office just like that...With so many people working on each of our cases, errors are always possible, and I would not want any of us to become victims of such stupid mistakes.

    Please call the office and make sure everything is right...

  3. PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dance::dance::dance::dance:

    On April 25, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

    Wheeeeee!!!!!! WHeeee!!!! Wheeeee!!!!!!!!! :star::star::star::star::star::star:

    You,guys,were talking about finding a job...I had a phone interview last week, and I am back for a face-to-face interview on Tuesday...Perfect timing..

    :star::star:

    I am so happy.

    Maintian,I feel sorry. I hope you are gonna get your stuff some time very soon...

    Anthony Julie, have funn!

  4. :star: Hi, everyone!

    We got REF'd: we have a joint sponsor, and they wanted evidence that she is an American resident or citizen.

    The copy of her passport was received today, at 4:34 P.M. by R. Robinson.

    For putting the file together on my own, I'd say i did a pretty good job! :innocent:

    I wonder when I will get my EAD and if gte REF'd again.....

    Good luck,guys!!! :thumbs:

  5. Hi, everyone! :blush:

    Today I went to get my bio's done. Took an hour. I noticed that government clerks are not very "nice". And I think it is a good thing because it will only prepare us more for the interview. Meaning, I will not be expecting our officer to be all happy and attentive. I realize how many people they have to talk to every single day.

    I remember, some time ago, one of the forumers here was not happy at her hubby's appointment because the receptionist sprayed the countertop after a man who did not look quite healthy, talked to her.

    I say... with how I was coughing and sneezing today, I should have brought several containers of Clorox and Purell with me, and just spray all over myself and every person in the lobby,lol :lol: I was so embarassed, and still I had to blow my nose in public!

    I have a question: does the fact that i have had my bio's taken mean that they do not need any addtional initial evidence from us or they can still send a request?

  6. Am not sure either..you would think they would process FIFO(first in first out)...am behind on getting my bio-metrics appointment..just playing the waiting game here.. :whistle:

    Did you send in a personal check? money order? not that it makes any difference..

    Sent in personal checks (noteworthy: written out to USCIS and not US Dept of Homeland Security...my slip-up...maybe that's causing a delay?)

    Acouto, on their web site, they actually ask not to make the check out to USCIS. It is just my opinion, but maybe it can cause some delay :wacko: ...

    Do not stress out. :luv: It takes really long for some people. You have no reasons to be overwhelmed yet.You are up to date and doing fine. Plus, it is probably a good idea to learn to wait - in our case we have no other choice but waiting :yes::hehe: (as you mentioned!)

  7. I thought the same way, but it seems like some of our February folks got their appointments even sooner that that. :thumbs:

    Our checks have been cashed on 2 days ago, yaaaaay!!!! :dance:

    I am hoping to get NOA1 this coming week...What do you think?

    Of course, with these offices you never know, but I keep looking at the database wonderful Anthony Julie put together, and the results and time frames look good, eh? :star:

    How is everyone doing so far? What are you,guys, stressing out? What makes you happy? SHARE WITH US!!! :P:yes:

  8. Hi all, my AOS/EAD package was delivered in Chicago on Feb. 11, 9 am, and my checks haven't been cashed yet. Should I be worried? (I know, I know, this process gets out the worst in people like me who tend to obsess over things outside their control.)

    Mine arrived the same day and the checks are still not cashed. So no worries!!

    USCIS is just not in a rush to get our money *joke*.

    Our checks are not cahed yet either....

    Oh, well.

    But we have not received any letters, that is why i am a bit worried.

  9. Hi, everyone! :)

    Thank you for wishing luck to us! We will need it a lot, the more the better! :lol:

    Sorry for a late update: our package has been received on the 14th, the next day basically. Checks have not been cashed yet. I guess they decided to wait till Monday :P .

    Maybe this week, they will take a look at it? Hopefully...

    Can you tell me please what is the whole deal with numbers they put on the back of the check?..A tracking number,case number or something of such sort? I read about it briefly in one of the forums but did not quite get it...So there is a way of knowing your case number before you actually get it in mail? :huh: That would be great! Or I am mistaken?

    Thank you!

    Best of luck to all of us! I read new posts in the thread, and I am sincerely excited for you ,guys. ;) I just wish everything will work out without major complications.

    Hi, i had a case number on the back of my check and kept trying to put it into the case status online and it wouldn't work. When I finally got the NOA1's in the mail (3 different ones for EAD, AP and AOS) they were actually 3 different case numbers and none were the same as on my check. I think you need to wait until you receive the notices in the mail. I don't know if this happened with other people as well.

    Thank you! I think I will just try to wait. Be patient :whistle: . Oh well, the sotry of my life! :thumbs:
