    My wife's came in 3 days (March 10). No criminal records of any kind on either of them. Strange why one takes less than a week and the other 8.5 months.

    Well today marks 8.5 months and I just got an email from RCPM saying my background check is now complete and has been mailed out. Submitted to RCMP on March 7. That's some crazy long wait times.

    Well today marks 7 months officially with no answer or update from RCMP. Applied for background check on Mar 7. It's now Sept 8. Every time I email them, I get the same answer back.. it's in progress and will be mailed to the address on file.

    Well today marks 6 months officially with no answer or update from RCMP. Applied for background check on Mar 7. It's now Aug 9. Every time I email them, I get the same answer back.. it's in progress and will be mailed to the address on file.

    Submitted March 7. Tomorrow will be July 7. Still nothing.
