I received my interview letter today. The interview is scheduled for 10/22. Can anybody update my info?

Does anybody know how soon after the interview I will have the oath ceremony? I've heard people had it the very same day. Can that be true?

I had to go back for a second biometrics appt. They sent me a letter last week saying that the FBI couldn't read my fingerprints, so I had to go back yesterday. I hope this is not going to delay my process. I WANNA VOTE!!!!!!!

I had my biometrics appt today. In and out in 15 minutes. I was very pleased. They gave me a booklet and CD to study for the interview. Are those questions all the questions we have to know or is there anything else?

I had 8 days advanced notice to the FP appointment from the date I recieved the letter. I think your lawyer is trying to caution you should you go on vacation and may get extended, but if its couple of days its not going to matter.

Just try to time it right. I went on vacation and it wasn't a problem at all. I had 5 days between receiving the letter and the appt. I would have somebody check your mail while you are gone.

Can somebody add my biometrics date? It's 6/24. I am afraid I would mess up the format of the list.

I haven't been online in over a week because I am on vacation in Germany. I received my biometrics letter on the day I left. I immediately typed a letter explaining that I would have to reschedule my appt because I was going to Germany for 12 days. I also added a copy of my itinerary to the letter asking them to schedule the next appt any time after I come back. Did anybody have to reschedule before? How soon did you get your second appt? I am worried they would reschedule my appt right away ignoring my letter. I am only gone for 12 days, but I am afraid I could miss my appt.

I haven't been online a lot the last 8 days because I am in Germany right now.

I have good news to share as well. I got my approval email today. I guess not checking my emails for almost a week was the right thing to do.

It is Friday - again. Another week gone by - again. No news from VSC - again. I never thought that the 2-26 people would be screwed even more than out 2-25 predecessors. They were mostly done in April after about a year (some exceptions). Here we are, almost 2 months down the road and now we are beyond the one year mark...

I am sick sick sick of waiting!!! I feel like calling and sending everyone to hell!!!!!!!!

This waiting process doe snot even make me fell like applying for citizenship IF I ever get the green card!!!!!

The way things are looking I think I will probably have my citizenship BEFORE I even get my 10-year GC. I was trying to not think about this BS anymore, but it pisses me off too much.

I just got a call from my sister telling me that I got my NOA and Biometrics Appt letter. The appt is set for the 30th of this month! :joy:

I will update my signature and will add myself to the list once I get home tonight!!

Anyone have any idea what the waiting time is for VSC? They don't have a processing time for the N 400 on their site.

Now somebody correct me if I am wrong, but I think you have to look for the processing times at your local field office. In my case that would be Atlanta even though I sent my application to the TSC.

I'm from Georgia. He replied within a week. I was surprised to hear something so quickly.

I was thinking about doing the same thing. What exactly did you write in your letter? Did you explain the whole case in detail? I find it hard to explain the whole mess to people who have no clue about immigration issues.

I got a Biometrics appointment yesterday. After showing my receipt for the previous biometrics last year, the officer say that my photo just valid in 15 months. It should be less than 15 months since my previous biometrics ( I did biometrics around March 2007). It is just about 13 months until now. I have no idea what is going on at Vermont. Cdn_in_texas, you and I filed I-751 at a very close time, if what the officer say is true, you could receive a mail from Vermont to do the biometrics again ( no notice by email)

I am frustrated, too. It is so unfair and unjust, but they don't seem to care.

Maybe we should sue them to get our money back. Hehehe.....
