  1. Maybe I'm wrong and my wife (who somehow understands the US and the English language better than I) who is saying that we need to apply on her behalf is right, while "To register or re-register for TPS you must file Form I-821, Application for Temporary Protected Status." directly taken from the site tells me that the person herself (my sister-in-law) needs to be the applicant-it's the "you must file" language. I'm not saying that we can't apply on her behalf, but my wife insists that we are the applicants. I thought my English was decent, but maybe I'm wrong and my know it all wife is correct.
  2. Hello Forum, thank you for your help. Our process was pretty straightforward, thanks to this forum. We have a new question. We'd like to get my sister-in-law, Venezuelan living in Argentina, here on a TPS to work as a teacher for a few years. What is the best route to do this, please?
  3. Has anyone renewed a Venezuelan passport recently? Is it possible to get an appointment that corresponds with our vacation times (we're both teachers) in Mexico or some other country with an open Venezuelan embassy? Is it possible to renew the passport without leaving the US? Her prorroga expired around a year and a half ago. Thank you.
