    That trick doesnt work for me .It doesnt take the reference number and therefor wont gimme any info.But hey have you seen anything from the NVC going to Germany Guill Girl???????? Since our file left NVC on the 12th as well,it should have been sent along with yours............

    My approved 129F also departed NVC to the Embassy on 12Mar. I found these instructions on another post; and was able to track the package:

    That DHL trick actually works... I tried it and came across all the petitions that NVC sent out to the embassies today, 3/13/08.

    Search by reference, click here: http://track.dhl-usa.com/TrackByRef.asp?nav=TrackByRef

    Type or paste this into the Reference field: EXP 12 MAR 2008A

    Make the range dates as close as you can (Maybe from the time your petition left till today 12-15Mar).

    You'll get a list of all the petitions that left that day, look for your country and hopefully it helps you..

    It actually helped me... NVC told me my petition left on 12Mar; DHL picked up on 13Mar; and it arrived in country on 15Mar...

    K1 "Touched" Question

    Quick question.... Maybe it's a dumb question; but I figured... It may have happened to some of you already...

    Why would you be "touched"; after being approved? My case was approved yesterday 5Mar08; I logged in this morning and I had another updated "Touched" 6Mar08...

    I'm guessing maybe to send the approval out to NVC or something, but not quite sure... Awaiting your enlightenment.

    I'm sooo happy... Thank you all for all your help and encouragement... I wish I had found this site sooner... Nonetheless, now that I found it, I'll definently keep up... It's a great support system...

    I'll make sure I update my Timeline... :)

    Congratulations to all you January VSC filers... I'm a January VSC filer like you, but have been mostly a lurker... OK.. Here is my info:

    We met in 1990... he was my first boyfriend... we were together from 1990-1992...

    I joined the USAF in 1995 and left Panama

    We got in touch again Sep 2007 and the fire rekindled

    We figured out that this was meant to be and became engaged on 1Nov2007

    I visited Panama for Christmas on 17Dec2007

    We picked back up; exactly where we left off almost 15 years ago

    After we both grew up... we are even more in love than in the early 90's

    Sounds like a story book story... but it's true; when you are meant to be together... no matter how far away or what happens throughout; if it's meant to be, it will defininently be...

    Now the official stuff for us to be physically together:

    17Jan08 - Mailed I-129 overnight

    18Jan08 - NOA1 issued

    23Jan08 - Check cleared

    -------08 - Estimated NOA2 date 8May08

    -------08 - Hoping to be married by my Birthday 20July2008... Would be a great b-day gift

    Ok... Now, how do I get added to the lottery pool and do that dance :dance:
