    I can't determine what is actually the correct way to fill out line20 for report for San Francisco Consulate. Everything is conflicting, the sample has line 20 printed signatures and it says handwritten documents won't be accepted in the other screenshot, but I have seen so many videos where 20 is left blank and hand signed. We jsut follwoed the sample and got it notarized do we just put our signature over the printed portion or leave it like sample?

    @Choo.143For line 20 of the ROM form, is the signature required to be handwritten? Wife went and apparently she printed form with our names printed and the notary still did it but I think it needs to be handwritten.

    Can anyone who has recently sent a ROM to San Francisco Consulate help me out here? What do I need, the checklist mentions negative certification or marriage(CENOMAR?) , but the requirements page doesn't mention the need for this. The checklist also mention proof of citizenship at time of marriage wouldn't this be covered by marriage certificate, passport, and birth certificate and its not necessary? We did Utah Online Marriage for reference. Lastly does the cover letter need to be notarized, an example of explanation of what you sent would be amazing.

    Utah Online Marriage, I called the San Francisco Consulate and they said only 1 signature is needed apparently alongside the notarization so think I should be good to go in this instance.

    We are at the nvc stage of waiting for a interview and my main concern is that the ROM will be needed at the interview or for CFO to allow my wife to leave. Will they give her a hard time without ROM at either?

    Can anyone who knows or has been through the process of an online Utah marriage recently give me a breakdown specifically for the ROM requirements or how to make sure it goes smoothly. My biggest concern is the notarized affidavit the consulate wants. How would get my wife to sign it or get it notarized if I can't see her until May? Any suggestions would be helpful.
