Just approved for citizenship today! Now to wait for the Oath Ceremony. Anyone have any ideas how often the Denver office performs a ceremony? I will read back through the thread for potential details.

EAD recieved in the mail today! Does this mean we can apply for a SSN now?

Our EAD account showed up online today and card production was ordered. We will finally be able to be a dual income family :-)

can't view my case status online.... My receipt number starts with MSC.... anyone is having the same problem???

I am not able to check anything at all, but I received my EAD and have an interview appointment. I wouldn't worry too much. Just look out for any mail from them.

We are not yet able to view our case online either... but things look to be trucking along well. Hopefully we will have our EAD next week!

We recieved all three NOAs yesterday. I have a question though - is there separate biometrics appointments for I-485 and I-765 or they do them all at once? Looking at NOA1 for I-485 I see Application Support Center Code 3. However, on the NOA1 for I-765 the ASC Code is 2. Does this mean we will have two different biometrics at two different locations?

In my biometrics appointment comes both case numbers. I've read that when they take the fingerprint only for EAD, they take it from the thumbs of both hands. In my case, they take the thumbs and all the fingers from two hand. First hand by hand, next finger by finger.

Our Biometric appointment lists both the 485 and 765. 2 for 1 :-)

Wow! My guess is that your paperwork was "lost" then "found". If they have cashed your checks then you should be on the right path!

I got REF today.

It said my husband need to submit the current tax returns.

We submitted 2006 tax return.

But i guess they want 2007 one....

but i am really not sure what they really want since we have all tax document of 2006 sent

i thought 2006 one will be ok

but in the REF, it says "In order to process your application further, submit evidence of the sponsor's current income.

so 2006 one is not current enough for them???????????????

Hey wendyleigh I got an RFE as well but because I didn't submit an I-864 for my husband, I only submitted one for my sponsor. So I called the 1800 today and they told me just to send one from my petitioner but nothing about recent tax returns, which worries me a little I wouldnt like them to send me another RFE, I am sending my response to the request first thing tomorrow. When did you sent out your aos?

Nelly, I am in the same situation like you. We sent all from co-sponsor but get a RFE for I-864 for petitioner, but we are asking us if it's necessary to send income tax??? Due to in the RFE letter no said nothing about income tax. How do you resolve that? We're in a hurry. We don't have previous income tax?

I think that a tax return is required in the instructions of the I-864. Read through the instructions and it will tell you what you need to include.

What do you all think the rough timeline for AOEs are now?

Our MCS case numbers are not yet in CRIS either. But things are still rolling along. I wuoldn't worry too much about this.

We are in California and still haven't gotten a biometrics appointment yet either. I am guessing that it will take us longer in Cali compared to other places in the US. :-( You submitted your paperwork a bit before us but its pretty close to the same time frame.

Just checked and our cases are not yet available to view via the web. Hopefully we will get our biometrics appointment tomorrow or the next day!

We received 3 NOAs on 1/23 and receive nothing yet since then. I saw many people got there biometric letter already and was a bit worried. Is it common to take this long?

BTW, somehow i was unable to retrive any info by using those reciept numbers. Anyone had the same problems?

I think you should use N/A if you've never been assigned an A#

I was on an F1 visa, when I applied and I did not have an A# so I'll say you leave it blank.

My wife is here on a F1 and we just submitted her AOS papework. She did not have an A# for the application. It looks like she was assigned one (or there was one we had no way to know of) because her NOA has it listed. Submitting the AOS application without an A# was ok in our situation.

Got our 3 NOAs today. Good stuff!

I use USPS Express Mail that why It's fast. Do you have the Priority No. for you mail? You can check on that. By the way, don't worry. I think they going to get your mail soon. We sent in 2 checks too... and they only cashed 1 so far. You are ok I think!

I applied for an SSN# with my K1 visa,but they did not issue me one(I was wating 3 months for the darn thing)

I can only get an SSN# with an EAD card.

Everbody: Do you think it is a problem that my passport is still in my maiden name and I applied for the AOS in my new married name???

I have not been able to get an SSN# seen as they are acting like idiots at my local office.

I have my biometrics next friday.
