I'm an LPR since 2016, have worked in the US for less than a year, then shifted to being self-employed ever since. Had a trip of less than 6mos outside US.
Fast track to 2019, I needed to leave the US to take care of my grandma.
Entered US 2021 (1yr 8mos), had a re-entry permit, and got through smoothly. After a week/7days, I had to leave the US again to take care of my grandma. Before I left, I filed for a re-entry permit.
2022, I was notified that my re-entry permit was denied (My biometrics was re-used though), it's because I left the US before it was processed.
2023 about to enter US next month (1yr 9mos).
I have filed my taxes religously all years, planning to bring my latest 2021. Greencard is valid still. Dont have Re-entry permit. Have an active US bank account. Brother and mother both US Citizens. Will stay in the US indefinitely.
