Can anyone tell me how I am supposed to file for my husband? He is a Canadian or Bermudian (hes half an half lol) citizen and we have been married since 11/24/06. He came to the US as a visitor 11/22/07 and now we would like to file his paper work so he can work here. I am not sure which forms to fill out to be quite honest. A lawyer wants $4000 and is insisting on us going back to the border to get an I-94? form and when we were at the border they told us we dont need that form for him to come in. So I have no idea what steps to take now besides paying the lawyer. Any advice?

He wants to live here permanently and be able to work. Citizenship isnt the main goal, Just being able to work and live here is. Thank you for all the help!
