we tried to change her social but they told us we could not change her last name till will update uscis. we dont have a green card or anythign like that yet. we just got married. she just got her a month ago on a k1 visa

when we file these papers for the change of status should we put her name that she used to come here on our k1 visa papers are should we use her new last name. i know we cant update her social till after uscis is updated but how do i update uscis in the change of status papers or is there another paper we have to do for the name change ????

thanks alot. for change of status we just need to prove we got married? the proof we are going to send was all the pictures since her arrival and all the pics from the wedding, and our marriage cert. i dont know what else we could send in also as proof since she lives with me. we are not able to update social sercurity of her last name yet cause of the fact we have to file these papers first. we tried to change her name at S.S but they told us we could not till it was updated at uscis. and we want to wait to get her credit cards and things in her name till we can run a back ground on her social so we can make sure no one has stolen it since she was not her for a number of years.

i just wondering if this needs to be NOTARIZED. me and my wife are just starting the papers to adjust her status since she has come here on a k1 visa.

yeah i will never get a layer to do this stuff agian. i actualy did most of the papers. i am the usc and my fiancee is in peru i know i need to fill out the timeline. just been so busy with geting the papers ready to send to her for her interview. i am sending

1 ds-156k

i-134 with last years paycheck stubs and 2006 tax return with letter from employer copy of brith cert. my income 21,000

i-184 for co sponsor attached last 3 years of tax returns, last 5 pay check stubs copy of birth cert. co sponsor income 40,000

a letter of intent

we have around like 500 photos for her to take to interview. an alot of yahoo conversations, plus phone card records , also i sent her a vonage phone( reciepts from customs there saying she recieved the phone) and alot of those phone records. plus tons of emails reciept of ring, copies of 2 trips to peru plane tickets, copy of passport stamps. mail reciepts from me sending her gifts and flowers, alot of ou pics are with her wole family,

about the pics the first trip we dd not even know about keeping pics so all the pics show true to life moments and not looking for pictures, from the ppl that have seen them they say they can tell we are in love. what do yo uguys think fo the interview is it enough ??????

oh should my fiancee also take one to her interview? i mean 1 from em and 1 from her ?

if so do yo uguys think it would be ok for us both t ouse that same letter ?

i also want to say thanks for all the help this website and the ppl on it have been a very nice help for me and my fiancee. sad to say mor ehelp then my lawyer.

i can just use that same letter? i was thinking about just using that one

i am trying to write this lettr of intent to marry. but i was wondering should this just say i intend to marry my fiancee on her arrival in the united states. or can it be more in depth. of me stating my feelings for her?

ds-156 is the visa form you have to take to the inerview wih you.. anyone kow about lima peru interviews ??? if fiancee has o be there?

i seen on some of those interview questions "when do you plan to leave the usa?" what is a good answer for that

i was also wondering since it is the new year what can i do about the taxes. i have not even got my w-2s from my employers let alone filed the taxes

i recently got the appt. letter for the interview on feb,6 2008

but i am kind a concern about what all i should take to the interview.

does my fiancee need to go with me? i have seen some post that says that they all declined if no.

i did not know about the pay check stubs but very nice add on. please help me prepare
