I am filling out a K-1 visa request and confused on 2 things - The fee is $455? or $131 I can't seem to find a clear answer on this. There are no dependent children accompanying the fiance.

Also, I live in South Dakota and the closest field office to send the packet is in St. Paul but this website listed a California Address for our state - I also see a Nebraska field office. So I am very confused as to where I send the packet.

N NOW(FEB 12TH, 2009) WE GOT PACKE 3 (WHICH INCLUDDES PASSPORT, PHOTOS, S 230 PART 1, BIRTH CERTI., MARRIAGE CERTI., PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP, POLICE REPORT, AFFIDAVI OF SUPPORT : FORM I-864, I-864A, I-864EZ, I-864W, AND I-134) N IT SAYS "U R RERUIRED TO SUBMIT THESE DOCUMENT @ THE TIME OF UR INTERVIEW"

AND BEFORE WE SUBMET PACKET 3 WE NEED TO SUBMET FORM DS2001 AND DS-230 part 1 TO THE IMMIGRANT VISA SECTION @ THE AMERICAN EMBASSY .

IM CONFUSE WE ALREADY SUBMET ALL THE DOCUMENTS BESIE FORM DS-2001, TO THE VFS OFFICE JALANDHAR , WHT DO WE DO NOW, DO WE STIL NEED TO FILL THESE DOCUMENTS N TAKE THEM WITH US @ THE TIME OF INTERVIEW OR WHT?

After long wait of 3 months period we finally got our I-130 approved by DCF at new delhi embassy. Now they have given us lots of paper work which includes

I-864, I-864ez, I-864a, DS-230, I-134

we have filled all rest of them but not sure about I-134?

My father (who is in usa) and myself are sponsoring for my husband. So we have already done I-864a which is contract between two sponsoers. Do we still need to fill out I-134. Can someone please help us? Is this requriment? Is this a new form? :-(

No, You dont need to fill form I-134. You just have to fill form I-864a......

I-134 is for K visa applicants....

My fiance went to New Delhi chanakpurry embassy in INDIA. we got 221G the reason was we didnt had enough proof evidence. I am not sure what other options are left beside going their marrying him?>

May I know if I can marry my fiance and stay their for certain period of time (not sure for how long i have to stay?) So we can apply at new delhi embassy and bring him back with me? Can someone pelase fill me on these details.

You can choose DCF (Direct Consular Filing) if you wish to stay for the time being in India after your marriage. For India you need to stay around 3 months prior to filing DCF and the whole DCF process usually takes a maximum of 2 months.

A word of caution, while going to India, make sure you aren't going through Tourist VISA, one can only file DCF if they have some kind of permanent residency VISA for India. Since you were an Indian a few years ago, you can apply for PIO (Person of Indian Origin) or even get Entry VISA and that will fulfill your purpose.

Well document your relationship with him; also give American consulate family chart showing how you two have different family background/blood.

This RFE sounds like they don't think you provided enough evidence of a continuing relationship. The more evidence you can give them the better. Have you been providing any financial support? Bank statments or Western Union receipts would be good evidence. Notorized letters from family and official forms that show proof of contact, like phone bills, are excelent evidence. You are on the right track just get as much proof as possible.

Pinky, as SGR has asked, did you apply for a Fiance visa (which is a K1) or a spouse visa (already married) K3? The reason we ask, is that you state you've applied for K3 (already married) but you're asking about Fiance stuff (K1) ..... if you are not yet married, can you please change your 'filed for' section to K1 otherwise it will throw the dates out for the rest of us, and give a false sense of hope if you post your approval.

K1 approval times are very different to K3 approval times, and a lot of us on VJ rely heavily of these approval times for an idea of when we will get our own.

1. A copy of my passport in which time stamped the dated entry of visiting india

2. Pic of myself and my fiance not together but we do have some

3. I dont have any pic together with my fiance before marriage Due to custom and social problems in india

they dont allow girl sand boys to be together even after engagment

4. I do have ticket and boarding pass of india still with me

5. I might have some recipts of shopping from shops when i was with my fiance in india

6. I do have some relatives and close friends who can write a statment which can be notarized by court of lawyer in india which show they where together with me when i was in india

anything else could be help please keep guiding me

Pinky did you apply for K3 or K1 visa..............both are different just let you know....your profile says you applied for K3 but you asking for K1 requirements.........

Not sure why i got RFE. USCIS is asking for evidence of meeting the beneficiary in person within the two year period immediately preceding the filing of the petition. Does this means I have to send pic or evidence after i have applied for petition or before?
