I am embarrassed to say this, but 10 years ago I abused valium. At the time i saw my Gp about it and as a result it is on my medical record.
I no longer use drugs and I dont have any criminal convictions.
My fiance recently proposed and we were planning on applying for the cr1 spousal visa. But I am devastated to find out that the medical in London, UK requires me to submit my GP summary.
Is there anyway around this such as a waiver, ect?

How far back does the GP summary need to go?

I am from the uk, my fiance is from the US. I have an esta to travel to the US.
Am i allowed to get married in the US and then apply for an IR-1 / CR-1 once i return to the u.k?
Or is a CR-1 specifically for getting married outside of the US?

What I meant to say is there anyway around being inadmissible. Like providing a doctors letter of being in remission?
