  1. In my case, they didn't informed me with emails that they received my AOS documents. I knew it when I called that they all ready have it but not have not review it. According to the officers that I talked to, they will review it within 30 days. Once reviewed, then they will send us instructions what to do next.

I completed the DS-260 online, but the supporting documents, I sent it through priority mail with the barcode sheet. I thought it was a pain to scan everything and send them all online, so I just decided to send it through the mail. But somebody must have tried emailing the documents online, just not me.

thank you very much! I'll make sure that they have copies of the documents on their interview.

  2. Hi! I'm also petitioning my parents. I already mailed the AOS and based on the tracking info, it was already received. I'm just wondering, should I get a letter from them informing me that they already have the AOS that I sent?

And also, I'm in the process of completing the DS 260, I read somewhere in the instructions that I can email the required documents. Anyone tried doing this, scanning the documents instead of mailing it?

So if I email the documents, they're not getting the original documents. I thought they need originals?

    Thanks in advance!

  3. ^ thanks for the reply. So for my father's AOS, do I put my mother on Part 3 family member 1 and vice versa?! Or should I leave the part 3 family member questions blank for both AOS since its a separate petitions?

I haven't submitted my IV documens, I just found out this week that I can submit these documents once I paid the fees. I thought I have to wait for an instruction. I wasted 7 months. :-( For now, I'm still gathering the document and prioritizing submission of their AOS.

  4. Hi!

I filed two separate I-130 petitions for my father and mother. I already paid the AOS fee and 2 IV fees last May 23. I made a mistake waiting for NVC's instruction to submit AOS. I didn't know that I can submit the AOS form once the status of my payment is PAID. Now, I'm running out of time and mad at myself because of the mistake I did.

    I really need your help.

I'm confuse whether to submit 2 separate I-864 forms, one for my father and one for mother. Or should I only submit 1, use my father as the principal immigrant and put my mother as a family member on part 3 of the I-864.

I'm also submitting I-864A. This will be filled-up by my spouse, right?!

I really appreciate all the help and instructions that you will give me. Thanks and God bless!

  6. let your fiancee have an early medical, but pls avoid monday and friday, many people come on these days.

    I have my medical wednesday, 1st day (6 am - 10 am) and thursday, 2nd day (9 am - 1030 am).

the number of people at St Lukes varies so to be safe, let her stay in Manila maximum of 4 days, minimum 3 days.

day 1 - arrival in manila

day2 - day1 at St lukes ( im at st lukes around 530 am, im number 8, they start early as 6am)

day 3 - day2 at st lukes (since i strated early on my medical, they let me come back 9am the following day. If you start late on your day1, most likely they will schedule you after lunchtime on your day)

day4 - going back to cebu depends if she finished her medical early.

  7. Maribel is from Paranaque and I an in indiana. we are late dec filers

HI!IM MID DEC. 2007 FILERS TOO..AND YOU GUYS LOOK FAMILIAR.........

maybe you ran into maribel in the mall. she likes to hang out there on her way to work . or from her, i do dent to ask a lot of questions. this whole process is overwhelming

I saw you guys on ...... , WOW! its good to know that you're in the process of getting your fiancee.. :) Good Luck! :)

Hometown is Bataan, raised in Manila, i work in Paranaque.

I already have my visa. :)

  8. Hi, I just want to ask if K1 visa holder should have a 2 way ticket.

It will cost my fiance $2810, two 2-way tickets (dfw - manila, mnila - dfw (for him) and manila-dfw, dfw-manila(for me)).

The travel agent insists that he get a 2-way ticket for me, because i'll be subject for deportation if I have 1-way ticket only, since im non-immigrant. He's afraid that its true. So he's getting me a 2-way ticket.

I know that I have to get a 1-way ticket only, but how can I convince him that his travel agent is wrong, that the 2-way ticket is only applicable for tourist or work-related visa with single entry.

Is there any writing about K1 visa that I only need to get 1-way? (So I can slap it to his agent's face when I get there hehe :) just kidding)

Pls help us! We could save a lil money from these, I'm leaving on April, its peak season, fares are higher and (non-valuable) expenses like this (purchasing a 2-way ticket for me) is not good. :help::help::help:

  11. Guys, let’s make a thread for the Visa Tracking, please. I’m gathering information of those who had/have their Visa Approval this February. Those who got an approval and already receiving their visa or recently heard from Delbros about the Visa delivery, please update us on the progress so others who are still waiting can make plans about making a follow up at the Embassy or make inquiry at Delbros.

So far these are the list of people who have provided updates on their Visa:

    Member's Username:

    1. raquel_1208 - Feb. 7 - Recvd a Call – Visa Pickup on Feb. 12

    2. JeffMayeth - Feb. 7 - Recvd a Txt Feb. 11 – Visa will be delvrd w/n 2days

    3. Tim_Y - Feb. 4 - Recvd a Call – Visa Pickup on Feb. 6

    4. ILoveJoy - Feb. 7- Recvd a Call – Visa Pick-up on Feb. 11

    5. Noki - Feb. 4 - Visa Delvrd on Feb. 8 – Recvd by her father - manila area, 7 zipcodes away from USE

I had my interview last week that's why I'm so interested to see the progress.

Hope we will all receive our visa soon!

    Good luck to us!!!

  12. Congratulations rlpolo78 and todd1000.

Congrats to Noki on receiving your physical visa. I am surprised to read DELBROS let your father sign for the visa delivery.

Thanks Edp333, yes, they let my father received the visa and the "do not open" envelope. On the form I signed last Monday for delivery of visa,

if you will not be availble at the time of the delivery, you'll indicate the person who can received the visa and relationship with that person. Just make sure to accomplish the authorization letter/form Delbros gave with the receipt. I gave my father the authorization form, one ID and he also present one ID.

The package bears my name and my father's.

  13. Congratulations !!!!

I agree with what you said, it ok to have tons of evidence than go there unprepared. there are applicants who have incomplete requirements, and didn't fill-up their forms. When I had my interview last Monday, there's a Filipino couple (i think they're the same age as mine or a lil younger than me), they were called for the pre-interviewer and when they came back, the guy (i think he's the petitioner) holds an I-134, it was blank. Guess they didn't have that. I wonder what happened to them. I heard many incomplete requirements (mostly affidavit of support) on window 38, different classifications. I wonder why do they (the petitioners) let their beneficiaries go at the USE unprepared. Some of the beneficiary are old, you cant expect them to surf the internet and read the do's and dont's at USE.

its kinda frustrating when you heard that the kids need to reschedule their interview (and needs to expedite the requirement becos one of the children will be having his 21st bday on May :( ) becos of an incomplete requirements when all of this can be avoided with just a simple research and joining forums like this. tsk tsk

Again, Congratulations bro! I hope you receive your visa tomorrow or early next week.. :)

  14. ^hi eteeandme, i think im not the one you're referring to, im female.. i think i sat next to you when im waiting for my finger scan, was your number 7020???? and you're seated with the lady (wearing a denim jacket) accompanying her mother.

Pls take good care of her, you're very lucky to have her. :)
