  1. Thanks for your reply.

i guess we can cross that option out.:-(

Im just having a really hard time living here in the States even though we'll be celebrating our 4 year anniversary on Thursday .So we thought maybe we could try and split the time between two countries.I met a couple once,he is American, shes from Ukraine and they are doing it somehow.

Unfortunately I didnt have the time to talk to them and ask more .:-(

  2. Hi everyone!

We havent been here in a long time. But this is without a doubt the best place to get answers if you have any questions.

    So heres my question.

I will be applying for my citizenship this year. My hubby and I are seriously thinking about living 6 months here in the US and the other 6 months in Saint Petersburg.

is it even possible?Do you know anyone who does that?

Every answer will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much and good luck!!

  3. Thanks so much for a quick response.I have my temporary green card extended for a year right now,we did the biometrics already and now just waiting for our interview.Actually we'll be calling uscis on tuesday to see if our case can get expedited since my hubby is in military.

And after a lot of talking we decided to stay here until i get my citizenship and then move to Russia or do 6 and 6.thats possible right?

Thank you for your help.i hope everything works out.

  4. Hello everyone

I havent been here in so long even though it seems that we just started our journey.Anyway..I didnt know where to post this..soo..My husband and I are happily married and out 3 year anniversary is coming up.We didnt have any problems with our papers and are currently waiting for my 10 year green card.

The thing is though that I wanna go back to Russia. He would like to come with me but is enlisted in the NAVY for the next 4 years.I guess my question is do i go to russia for 6 months and then back to the States for 6 in order to keep my green card?and how does he move there after 4 years without losing his citizenship?

If anyone is going or had gone through the same situation id really appreciate all the help and advice.

Thank you guys.Good luck to everyone!!

be prepared? How much Money will we need? Basically whats the whole run down.

After her arrival. AOS and Work. Can you direct me to a forum or thread answering this.

  8. Ok so she had her interview today.

Thanks for the DHL help it was fine.

But she extended her stay when she was here and now her documents

are under review. She was never illegal and never overstayed anything.

why would they put this under review. the 2nd time she extended we never received a paper.

but it is confirmed online. Thats what the officer wanted to check.

    has this happened before?
