  1. Thanks for the reply guys! I strongly agree on everyone's suggestion that my main job will be sufficient enough. I just thought that a couple of questions from I 134 should be answered (if you own a property and it's value and the balance mortgage) accordingly if you have a property anyway. Its just that from my 2007 ITR, everything I made last year was of course stated. I guess I was just hesitant to leave it blank the part from I 134 where it ask about if you own a real estate. And yes, I do have all the required docs like paystubs and letter from employer. So I would do today, I will have my I 134 notarized and leave those questions from I 134 I mentioned above blank. But to be on the safe side, I will bring all docs I got during the interview (about the real estate, and rental home docs), I will be joining my fiancee with her interview in Manila this coming month.

  2. Hi! I received our interview date last week for USEM for Apr 3, 2008. Im preparing now my affidavit of support. My salary on my regular job is I think more than the poverty level. In addition to that, I have several 1099 forms (Independent contractor) from 3 companies I have worked on from last year and another 1099 form from my rental home. Total salary of around 100K from last year. My question is, should I include my two properties and all my W2's/1099 forms on my affidavit of support? And if I include those properties, how would I answer the question from I 134: I own real estate valued at: and With mortgage(s) or other encumbrance(s) thereon amounting to: $? Especially right now with the US economy, those properties actually fell in prices so I think I owe more the the actual value of those houses now. I'm just a little lost about I-134 right now, I can make things simple and just present 1 W2 (around 75K) but I will be presenting my latest ITR and all of those things from what I mentioned above will reflect on the ITR form for 2007. So ultimate question is, should I just present 1 W2 or present everything? Thanks for your reply!

  4. Me too, Im a late July filer. I got my NVC case number MNL2008524XXX. Still waiting for USEM to generate interview date. Spoke to somebody from USEM 5184 ext (forgot what her name was) and I asked her what's her prediction about the interview date base on the electronic data received from NVC, she said it could be sometime on May. I called DOS and NVC from last week. Agents from both said it has been sent to USEM on Jan 28, 2008. I did the DHL tracking procedure as described here at VJ and it says there that USEM received on Feb 1, 2008. Anybody from here can give me a guesstimate on when USEM can generate interview/medical appt date through IV appt website. Thanks!

so you mean i call USEM to ask there prediction of my appointment scheds? what did u provide

Obviously I was just anxious to know about the interview date. Up to now, USEM have not generated the interview/medical date for my fiancee'. So when I called, they told me they already received the electronic file and they cannot process the application until they receive the physical file itself. Then I just asked the agent base on an average timeline on when can we have our interview date. The agent replied they will generate the dates either this week or the next. She also said that there is a chance the interview can be in April if there is still available slot/date but most likely in May. With this approximated time in mind, at least I can plan ahead and prepare the necessary documents and I'm also planning to go with my fiancee' for her interview. I asked her if K1 interview is being conducted only on the first 2 weeks of the month but she replied "no", the interview date can be any day of the month. BTW, they will ask you your case number (from NVC), your name and your fiance'/e's name. Hope this helps.

addendum: This conversation was from a call to USEM just 4 hours ago. I spoke with Grace. Very helpful.

  7. Congrats! Finally... I`m so happy for you my friend :D

    Thank you.

I have been trying to message you yesterday. But you were not online... I wanted to tell you... = )

Hope to see you soon in PI and here in the US... wooooo hooooo = )

I just got approved on Jan 25, 2008.. Anyone else got their NOA2?? let's keep in touch.. Hopely it won't be long till NVC receive our packet.

Congratulations !!! You've waited a very long time. Hopefully, the rest of your journey will speed up now!

    Thank you... = )

congratulations pinaylang! its has been a long wait for you but you made it. i was approved jan 10, nvc received jan 24, nvc sent to usem jan28. i was a little surprised that csc forwarded the application to nvc earlier than expected. people who got their NOA2 last month waited 3-4 weeks for the transfer. for sofia2006, how were you guys able to get the DHL tracking number? does usem generate interview dates? if so, when is the earliest possible time to know your interview from the online site? thanks!

  8. oh doh! I didn't realise the beneficiary couldn't call and obtain info on an application. I called to ask about the 'received date' since I got worried that even though the NOA1 says 7-27-07, case status online says "On September 26, 2007, we received this I129F PETITION" and I'm thinking maybe they *have* placed me in the late September boxes. I spoke to a *really* sweet woman too and am sure she would have given me info if she could.

I didn't know that either...have your fiance' call USCIS. I'm sure some clarification will give you relief with the receipting date. I have a question about "touches". My approval date was Jan. 10. Got another touch on the 11th. I got the hardcopy NOA2 in the mail on Jan. 14. However, I got another touch on Jan. 15. I just wonder what it's for. Approved petition forwarded to NVC??? Wishful thinking!!!

  9. Congrats to the approvals. Hopefully it's the start of all July filers being approved this week.

Did any of them mention whether they heard online or hard copy NOA2. Would be interesting to know whether the online updates are actually working.

Just a clarification, I received this email from CRIS on January 14. My sister actually the one who received the hardcopy for the NOA2 on January 14(I dont have it with me at the moment). But approval date from NOA2 hardcopy is January 10, 2008. I will edit my timeline ASAP! I got a touch on January 10 and January 11. There's an obvious discrepancy of the date from the CRIS email, it says, they sent the notice on the 14th of January but it was actually sent out probably on the 11th.

  10. my first post...I129F sent on july 27, 2007, received july 28 at CSC, NOA1 dated aug 13 2008, first touch jan 10, 2008, 2nd touch jan 11, 2008. CRIS email stating approval of petition today jan 14, 2008. another july filer from CSC with identical dates (henry-wendy) as mine was also approved as shown on the vj home page. some movement on part of CSC. hope this will give late july filers some hope.
