    Yeye - please find below the answers

    1) Did you have to pay fingerprinting fee at the time of interview? If so, how did you pay it cash or some other way?.

    No yeye . I have not paid for fingerprints

    2) Did you ask them to pick up the passport same day at VFS?

    They haven't given me this option and i also not ask about it. now i m waiting for the courier boy..ohhh i should have ask for that

    3) Do you remember how long it took to get your case transferred to Delhi after NVC said it was transferred?

    my case got complete on 16 August . NVC sent my interview letter on 12 September but i don't know when they have transferred my case to N Delhi embassy .

    4) After NVC assigned you an interview date, how long did it take you to receive the appointment letter?

    my husband got the interview letter on 22 September in USA and i got it on 2nd October which NVC sent on 12 September .

    Hello yeye

    I think you should not take chance .

    U should aply for Local PCC . District police will take one month and issue the PCC (without bribe) . I got my PCC form local police station with in one month without paying them a single penny .

    I think if u give them something they will issue the PCC with is 15 days .

    My passport is also new but i submitted both the PCC's ( from local police and passport PCC).

    Hello Friends

    Thank you ALL for your support, your guidance and your good wishes (F) .

    They said my visa is approved i will get my passport with in one week :dance:

    here is my interview experience

    I reached embassy at 7:15 my interview was on 7.45am .

    7:30am Security check @ Embassy

    8:00am at window no .16 - Fingerprints

    8:30 @ Window no 15 First Interview : one Indian lady was there she first requested me to submit my medical reports and asked 02 questions

    1. Is his the first marriage of both of you ?

    2. Have to ever been to any other country ?

    then she returned the original documents and asked me to wait for the second interview .

    9:20 @again window no 15 Second Interview : this time there was Indian boy he was quite friendly first he asked me to sign on DS -230 part 2 . and then asked around 9 questions ..

    Who is the sponsor?

    How did you meet?

    Where does he work ?

    what is his designation in his work place?

    What is the date of your marriage?

    Have your ever been to USA or any other country?

    How many people attended the marriage ?

    How may people were there from USA on your wedding?

    Form how long your husband is there in USA?

    Than he said your visa is approved and you will get your passport with in one week .

    Surprising nobody ask for any document like Tax returns , W2's , ID proof, marriage photos , honeymoon pics. i was carrying 2 files full of papers with one album.

    Now i m waiting for the courier boy :P:D

    I m feeling very nervous , lots of things are coming in my mind . Ohh I don't know what will happen.

    I have checked Delhi Embassy site my case no. is there.

    There are some 4-5 other interviews of CR1 on the same day.

    but i think mine is the first one @7:45 am ..

    OHH GOD please Help .

    I have few Questions

    Question -1 Is it necessary to bring the most recent federal income TAX return of the sponsor to the visa interview , If yes which is the most recent one 2007 TAX return OR 2008TAX return.

    Question -2 I have got the interview letter form NVC . Delhi US consulate will also send the interview letter to me?

    Please reply .

    please see my answers below .

    1) What documents did you submit at VFS? What do they require to submit documents at VFS?

    I have submitted only the photocopy of my passport at VFS office and fee of Rs. 365. and got a receipt of that.

    2) For medical report, can you schedule appt. within 2 weeks? After you appt, how long does it take them to give you the report?

    my medical was on 29 September . i have taken the appointment on 27th Sept. Doctor told me that if everything is fine they will give me the report with in 2 day and i got my reports on 1th October .

    3) Did you get RFE from NVC for police certificate from the district police?

    No, I got the ref because of not filling the proper answer of question no 20 in DS 230 form.my PCC was ok

    4) Does the police certificate from district police state the dates you have stayed at your home? Or is it just their standard format? Can you share what it contains?

    Actually police has a set format for issuing the PCC .I request them to put the duration of my stay in my area . they told me if you are staying in ur present address lesser then one year then only they mentioned the stay dates. they showed me bundles of PCC which they have issued for USA and Canada with the same format. so the PCC i have submitted at NVC is without the my stay duration in this area as i m living here from the last 16 years .

    Hello All,

    Today i have received my original interview letter from NVC.the date of interview is OCT 8th @7:45AM

    My medical is done and got the reports as well . I have also summited VFS fee of Rs.365.

    Please check the below list and suggest me if i have missing something for my interview

    1. Passport

    2. Interview letter

    3. Vfs receipt

    4. 2 2x2 Photographs

    5.Medical report

    6. completed DS-230 with g325

    7.all documents received from CIS and NVC

    8. Yahoo Chat records including e-mails

    9. marriage ceremony's Photo album with our honey moon and other pics (around 125 pics )

    10. my husband iternry and boarding passes of India trip .

    11.Our Train tickets traveling together in India.

    12.Record of buying the calling card for calling in India.

    13. my husband three year tax returns with the copy of W2 and his bank account statements

    14.My all docs docs identity proof and resident prooves and educational and employment certificates.

    15.copy of my husband's birth certificate , passport.

    16. cards and other letters which he sent by post.
