sorry for the wrong info i gave before. i just had my aos interview yesterday. the interviewer informed me that my 2nd fingerprint was rejected(no rfe was sent to me before) and asked me to submit a clearance letter from the LA sheriff dept within 30 days. i guess i will be approved as soon as i submit that letter.

we tried to call nearby police/sheriff stations but we were informed to go to Norwalk sheriff station because it's the only one that provides clearance letter for uscis. quite a hassle.

we also have the same case...my 2nd fingerprint was rejected also. we went to state police today, but they didnt give me clearance instead just took my fingerprint manual and gave me the sheet. did the Norwalk sheriff station give u a police clearance or just took a manual fingerprint of u?

Anyone help please...i already have a KI visa scheduled interview on Sept. 12. May question is it alright to have my medical exam two weeks or one month before the scheduled interview.

Lastly, do i have to pay for the visa application fee now...since my interview schedule is on the 9/12 or can i pay it a week before the interview?

Thanks for the info. It's very helpful. I just call the USEM for scheduled interview, i got thru the line with just one ring at exactly 8am.

My question is about the medical exam. What laboratory test did you undergo? why two days? Please enlighten me...did St. Luke Medical gave you the medical result after the two day process. How would you know if everything is ok with your medical?

I talked to a friend today in the Fils.She ask me if heard anything about the Embassy refusing to accept the old passports even though they are still valid.Anyone know anything about this?I'm trying to help her out using our vast collective info base.She is not as well versed in these things as I am,haha Thanks for any input.

DFA here says it is still valid but i read in the news that they do require or ask for authenticated or certified true copy of the passport.

Why not take a Bachelor Bus from Ecoland Terminal, Davao City. I dont think they are issues on american traveling to Mati...i have seen plenty of them visiting our city.

My fiance just recently got an email confirmation that our I-129F petition has been approved and that they mailed the notice last May 15, 2008.

i have the K1 flowchart as a guide on to the next step. i heard from a friend that there are instances that the Embassy would require personal appearance of me & my fiance. is this required?
