Thanks guys, I just cant wait till this paper chase is OVER!

Everything went well but I was asked to get some supplemental vaccines. The interview was short, my husband and I knew we're going to be approved (hey we already have 2 kids, LOL!) and all papers are legit and all questions he asked us was answered honestly and to the best of our knowledge. They gave us 30 days to complete it. The interviewing officer said he'll make a decision once we drop off the needed vaccines... which we're going to do everything this week. So wish us more luck to complete it in time and no more hassles in the future

I am in the same boat as you are with regards to the vaccinations. Before my AOS interview I was worried about the vaccinations but I told myself not to worry coz the others are right, I shouldve gotten an RFE if they needed more.
Last friday I just had my AOS interview (Jan 21) and everything went well. Except that they needed me to complete some supplemental vaccinations and told us to just drop it off and then the IO said he'll give us a decision (which my husband and I know we're gonna get 100% approved) Hey we already got 2 babies (lol!) and all our papers are legit and we answered all his questions. They gave us 30 days to do it. Im sure you guys will be fine!

We finally hear from them and got a notice that my Interview is on Jan 22 (Yay!)
But I got so many questions I hope someone can enlighten me.
Got here in the US Jan 2009, got married March 6, 2009
filed for the petition Sept 2009 (got busy with a kid and then got pregnant again too)
and then we received a notice for an interview last Nov 2009. My first question is, in one of the docus to submit/bring is the Vaccination Record.
The last time I had one was before my k1 interview in Manila in Oct 2008 and I know that they expire within a year.
So, do I get another vaccination record (I mean get an updated vaccination and record) or what I have is enough since we filed before Oct 2009 (expiration).
2nd question, It says I need to bring my Birth Certificate (which is no problem) but under that is I also need to bring hubby's BC.... do we really have to? He's got his passport and social security card and all that stuff to show his US citizenship. He says it'll take a while before we can get a copy.
And 3rd question, to those who have filed their petition here in Los Angeles, California, do you guys think we can bring our kids? We're having a hard time looking for a baby sitter and I just want to ask if the place is small/crowded. Our nearest family are 3 hrs away from us. And most of his friends are at work (since its a friday)...
THanks in advance!

Otto und Karin, thanks for the FYI, we definitely didnt get something like that on the mail.
And I called our lawyer and denies that he received one too. Geez, he filed for it, wasnt he suppose to get a receipt of it or something? Ugh, he is sooo useless...(sorry for ranting abt my lawyer) we had a long story about him messing up our application. Anyway, thanks again.
Phil, thanks for the info too. And Congrats on the baby! Im 20 wks prego too... btw whats a CSC?

Thanks for all your replies. Yeah I think we're missing a piece of document here. Im going to check on our lawyer today if he received the NOA since he was the one who filed during the K1 visa. Cross your fingers that he still has them. I dont want to pay another fee ($300+) just to get a copy of the darn thingy.
Best regards to everyone!

I have exactly the same problem you have ... I didnt save letters from them, I thought once I got my visa
I wouldnt need any letter like that.. I just included a letter explaining that I dont have that letter.
I actually saved all letters that came from them and I just didnt get anything that says its a "notice of approval".... Btw, we had a lawyer to file for us for the K1.

I arrived in the US (January 2009) with a K1 visa and got married in March 2009. After a few months of trying to adjust to the life here in the west, and trying to save up for the filing becoz we know its gonna be another dent in our pockets, I have started gathering the necessary documents for the AOS.
And my problem is, I have all the docus except for NOA... the only thing I have and I remember is getting a letter from the US Embassy in Manila, stating that we are eligible for a visa interview in Manila. Can anyone tell me if this is the NOA?

Has anyone ever gone thru with that?
I just received my Visa packet today (Yay!) and my fiance has bought tickets for me and my daughter for next week, Im just a little worried (knowing how some philippine govt agency loves the holidays so much) Im worried if this is going to take time? Can I do it in one day? I intend to go there really early on monday. I would call today but the offices are still closed due to the holidays..
And what is an Immigrant Data Summary (part of its requirements) ... sorry for the rant, just anxious to get this distance over with!

Ok, so I called them ACS today and it turned out my daughter was already approved and her passport is on its way to me. They said it usually takes 2-3 weeks of printing it. So YAY!!! And now Im gonna have to call or maybe wait for further instructions about my K1 visa. I hope to be with my fiance before the NEW YEAR!
Good luck to all!!

Hmm, Im reallly not sure if we're on AR too, (first time I heard of that) well anyway, I hope you hear from your case too and Im calling them ACS today to know more. Will post again
thanks for the input.

Hi everyone!
Ok here's my story, my fiance and I have applied for a k1 visa. We also have a daughter. So when we were interviewed last Oct 20th, the consul said Im good to go, but I have to check with the ACS (American Citizen Services) if my daughter qualififes to be a US ciitizen, so my fiance and I went there, applied for our daughter's passport, interviewed at the same day but they required more evidence that my filipino fiance is indeed an American citizen.
He's lived there btw since he was 3 yrs old. So they gave us a 90 day grace period to submit records like school records and employment which we did submit last Nov 24th.... Up to now theres no word from the US embassy or the ACS.
Now Im wondering how long does it usually last for them to process such cases?
Anyone else here who's been thru this? I'd appreciate all your inputs, thanks in advance and happy Holidays!

Hi All, Im Mickee from tagaytay, Philippines.
Recently I received a letter from the embassy stating that our case is eligible for a visa interview and have to call a certain number. I tried dialling the number 001-909-101-7878 and the operator said "your number cannot be completed as dialled, pls check the number and dial again" .... sooo, I tried dialling directly like 1-909-101-7878 and got a busy tone...
Ive tried dialling that number more than 50 times and all I get is a busy tone? So now Im wondering if Im dialling the right numbers? Its getting me so frustrated.
I also tried dialling 001-888-877-9888 and got their machine and asked me for a valid email address and when I press 3 for english, it asked me for a PIN so I dropped the call? I was like WHAT PIN? So i was reading on here and saw that theres a fee or something to be paid?
So for the pinoys/pinays over here, what number did you dial to schedule for your interview?
Thanks in advance and more power!
