They are still reviewing Feb applicatons. So don't expect Ours( June filers) for another 3-4 months. And As suggested in earlier post just get ready to file for N-400.

Since N-400 is now handle differently ( Chicago lock box and your local office) , i expect it will be much faste thans this.

I won't be surprised if i will get my citizenship first and than they will send me my 10 years greencard. :innocent:

it doesn't matter. i fyou have barcode sheet you should have sent the stuff to NVC. NVC system will automaticaly cleared the IV bill glitch.

MOst of the time NVC also schedules appointments in the begining of the month, i got my interview date on 10th july. So just keep checking email and email will pop up one day...

or just got to local post office and request to forward all your mails to new address. They can also hold the mails as weill.

I suggest chage your address at POE and also go t post office. Just to be on safe side.

Thanks alot for all the answers and advice.. i will be going to surat for medical on 6th of oct. i guess ill be done by the time of VFS. hey Gundas Thanks alot for VFS checklist.. now i m going to take each copies of documents. my inteview date is 6th so i decied to go to VFS on 27th so it wont be any rush. any one has guess howmuch will it take for the medical?? i guess desidon told me around like 5000rs.. Thanks alot..

Well it cost us about 10000 rs. as we took 2 shots of HPV vacissine as well. And 2 shots of varinova or somethign like that...So just be prepared ..Physician will determine which vacissien to take....And Surat appolo is not that busy as of ahmedabad as we did our medical from surat appolo...we live 10 min frm the hospital...

DO you have a visiter visa in hand? If you have applied for I -130 , they will most likely will not give tourist visa to her. Relative of mine had already tried it and it did not work.

But if you have got the vis before mailing I-130 than it's different case.

congartulations....for the visa.

I did not went for ITIN number, instead my accoutant advised me to file amended return once she come her.

There is one benifit this way, as what ever refund you will get , IRS will pay you good interest on it.

But you can only amend last 3 yaers of return....

one more hting to add, my friend wife took only one shot of HPV ( that all she could complete before coming to usa).

It looks like an optional vacissine.

My wife got the visa, at the time she had only one shot of HPV. She is going to complete the second one before coming here, but it is our choise not requirement.

And None of us , me or my friend, are going to complete the remaining shot here in usa.

Recently HPV vacissine was in news a lot becuse of it coast, and many phisician recocmend on ly one shot.

take 5 -6 emails per month and 5-6 chat logs per month. that should be enough. i my case it was 7 years worht of emais and chat...and guess what. they did not ask anything during the interview.

also had bunch of phone calls records, nothing was asked...if your case is straight forward...you don't need much stuff, but anything fishi in your case...no matter what you give , might not enough for them.

Added few more questions...

Thing went smoothly except one problem..we have to wait a long time.

here is how everythign went...

My wife was at embassy at 5.50 AM with one person in front of her. They all went inside the consulate at 7.00 am. Now inside , tehy haev different section for immigrant visa and no immigrant visa.

She was called initially and wasa returned all the document they took in VFS office a week back, and told to wait. NOw this wait was huge , she wasn't called till around 3.00 in the after noon.

She was asked some question

She looked at papers and asked

1) what is your marriage date? how long have you been married?

2) when did your husband came from usa for marriage? how many days before marriage?

3) you got married so soon, just few days after came form usa?

4) Where is he right now? ( What a stupid question? )

5) does he came to india for your interview?

Waht she told me is, there were one lady ( for CR1 visa as well) they questioned here for 1 hour than told her to wait and again called her for more questioned for another hour..and eventhan they didn't give her the visa. i guess this kind of stuff delayed her number tobe called upon soon.

When she was called , interview was over in 10 min

they asked following question

1) what does your husband do?

2) how does he go to wrok?

3) what kind of car he drives?

4) did you see him last time?

5) do you have photos from his last visit?

6) do you have marriage photos?

7) who came from usa to attend your marriage?

8) Did he send any gift, or card from usa?

Ans than the magic words...after waiting for about 8 hour inside embassy..

Congratulation , your visa is approved. " Congratulation, tamane visa aapavama aave che"
