I transferred April 2025 and yet to get a date. Yes they do process transfers differently. I think there is a 6month wait or so. i am hoping for this month honestly if not i wonder how the case will be treated after 1st of Nov

Hello All, at this point I am still waiting for IL at the UK embassy. I transferred i think in April, been waiting 5months. worried that by Nov1st will have to transfer my case out of the UK. any updates on dates been given out anyone

They are working on cases Mar 2025 now so thats pretty soon

Also since a follow to join takes on the PD of the principal will they also be affected by the quota reset in October? I just hope its a mistake and it should be March 2025. But I hear you @appleblossom and Understand your rationale BUT i do think if you have an approved petition then surely you already have a visa allocated to you in numbers. I believe the only time the reset should affect is if you yet to get approved for your i140 but please correct me I may be wrong thats what I was told. That being said in my case I am a follow to Join, principal has already been approved and has GC in the US so I am riding on her PD date so a visa should already be allocated to me as well ( thats what the lawyer said) I got feedback from the congressman last Friday and it still said that they were scheduling for feb 2025 and I should hear from them soon I guess. Oh well lets see what happens in sept

I dont think the family preference have receieved dates either. My friend is in that group and they are yet to get any ILs for the month of July

could you explain what do you mean by transfers add a bit of time. I transferred in May to London via NVC and I am yet to receive IL. My DQ is 6th of Dec 24

Thank you for this information. I was just requesting for his DQ date to know if i will receieve a date this month or have to wait till next month. I was DQ December 6 2024. Its clear its a first in first out. I only just transferred to the UK last month though
