on my one i put U.S and wasnt a problem .also another tricky question asks for date of travel i put not known

(correction) I also have my MBE it states 212(g)(2)(B.) on anatomy what does this mean.

My wife was unemployed too we put unemployed on her i-864 and then got a co sponsor.

with the i-864 you have to submit the last 3 years w2 or if selfemployed i think its 1020

we just called DOS and they said visa has been issued.

LINKIN they can do anything they want and ive seen a few cases on vj where that happened also on another immigration forum a guy has been on AP for 5 years and asked to send passport last month, then passport was sent back to him without a visa, when he enquired about it he was told another ap.

you should call DOS on +1 2026631225 and they can tell you instantly if you visa has been issued and also if it has been put on your passport.

im from uk and they issued ir1 visa in 2 days but have not yet received the passport, it could even been one day cos i only called them today to finnd out.

when embassy are ready to issue you a visa, they normally email you or phone you to send your passport by sms courier. when you call sms courier, they ask you about what service you want to take to deliver your passport to embassy and deliver back to you....i acquired premium serivce from 8 to 12pm........which means when you book your delivery, they come to your residence on the following morning and deliver your stuff to embassy on the same day or next....embassy itself usually takes 5to7 business days to dispatch your passport back to you....mine took exactly 6 days....hope it helps...

Thats very helpful thanx. Sms have already collected my passport on monday 19 jan and delivered to embasy on tuesday 20 jan so fingers crossed. May i ask the 6days wait was it from sms collection to delivery or 6 days from interview. Thank you again for ur very helpful feedback

onemore thing, it would be better if you book your delivery by premium serivce...it means when embassy stamps your passport, they do level best to disptach your passport on the same day and you can have your passport on the following day..............

SMS courier always text you on your cell phn that they are going to deliver back your passport tomo so if it is not convenient to you u can call them up and reschedule your deliver on any other day.........

hello, everyone. Im sure this question would have been posted hundreds of times but cant find it on VJ. 1, how long would london U.S.E take to return my passport with ir1 stamped 2. In my case i just sorted out a 221g now U.S.E wants embassy how long would it take from when secure mail picks it up to me getting it back stamped. I appreciate all feedback, thank you.

a while ago on a forum i read an article of attorney advising that mexico consulate check for things such as tatoo's and other things which they can assciate u with a gang (very stereotypical) so u get my point. I wore a suit at london and they were about 200 people on dat day only bout 5 were wearing suit but most of them were for niv. But wearing a suit gave me confidence and it would certaintly make interview respect u for making an efort.

It's still months off.....Still waiting on a NOA2!!! But can anyone tell me what the right type of dress code to be wearing to the interview. Is it very formal, say shirt and tie, or could you get away with smart casual. Another thing. i currently am growing my hair out. Now I'm paranoid that being a guy that may be against me in my interview. My fiance really wants me to keep it, and says she thinks it will be fine, and that it would be ridiculous if it was a problem. Well I've read some hairy(heehee!) stories on here about denied visas for all sorts of stupid things. So if someone who did their interview with long hair or knows the rap!

hi there sorry i dont have experience in ur case but will say gud luck they want to approve u but need to sort out that small issue, most people get put on ap if they dont believe them. Or they get a 221g thats a bit similar to wats hapening to u know. Didnt they ask for proof of relationship at interview.

thank you im not celebrating untill i receive the actul visa, i heard horror stories of passport returned without visa and being told another ap after already being on ap for a year. I consider myself the luckiest person here.

(i say a few hours bcos i know ap does not start untill u cleared the 221g issue, on this instance was police report) howeve secure mail courier is coming to pick up my passport 2day. I will let u know wat happens. Thank you again for ur valuable advise.

does this mean i was never in AP. its highly unlikely for immigrion official to make that mistake

i dont know if this is the right place to post if not accept appologise.

im confused about the situation im in.

1, ive been to my ir1 interview only last week and got a 221g (need a new style police certificate) and asked do not send

passport untill you receive a call from embassy.

2, i also got the administrative proessing box ticked.

3, ive sent the police certicate on thurday 15 january 09 via sms

4, next day friday 16 i get a call from embassy saying they received the police certificate but i didnt send passport,

i explained number 1above and he said i shall send my passport

5, i asked him does that mean the visa is being issued and he said they dont have a problem with my case and will

issue the visa but then it all depends on the immigration officer on the day issuing the visa.

6, i called dos and confirmed embassy needs your passport, again i asked is this because the visa is being issued

and she said it could be because they have reached the fial stage of your husbands visa and need to issue the visa

but it could also mean they need to do aap

7, im confused
