  1. Hi all! I have few questions again regarding my situation,

Me and my fiance met 2 years ago but we didnt keep any emails and chat logs not until we became "official:which was last year, and when wrote on the forms describing how we met(for the G-325A form) he wrote there that we met in 2006, but we dont have any evidence that we were communicating already in 2006 and early 2007 when we were still friends,

Just in case the CO will ask that in the future how am i supposed to answer it?They wont suspect that our relationship is a sham?

I only have our emails, chat logs and and tons of photos, cards, when we became official.

What evidence did you provide of having been together in person within two years of filing?

We only submitted my boarding pass when i was in US,isnt that enough?

After he filed for I-129F he visited me and spent weeks together.

  2. hi. i think that's more than enough. it helps if you submit a notarized affidavit from people attesting to the authenticity of your marriage. actually in my case all i submitted was just a photocopy of the marriage certficiate for the I-129F petition and we received approval in 2 months. good luck!

    We're not married yet

  4. If you were the beneficiary of a K1 in recent years (say, last 2 or 3), that might certainly raise a flag. I don't think it would necessarily preventy it, just it would probably make them examine it carefully.

yeah it happened 2 years ago.and we just sent very minimal evidence of meeting prior to filing of k1.its just my boarding pass.

We're waiting for the RFE..if any....so we can send more of the evidences we can provide.

    I

    Well, the main difficulties are:

    1. You went through a K1 process two years ago.

    2. Two years after that, you are the subject of ANOTHER petition for a K1.

    3. You have just mentioned that there is very little information with your second application.

Not saying you've done anything wrong (I don't see that you have), just you can see why they'd examine it closely.

Thats why i really regret now that we hurriedly filed the case and didnt wait a little longer to

collect more evidences ...though we have those now but they dont ask for it.

I saw someone here who have gone through like i had she was a k1 visa beneficiary too and didnt marry her fiance.met the guy while in US and she went back home and her new fiance filed for k1 visa and in just 5 months she got approved....while mine is still pending?

sorry im just a bit down now.

  6. what might be the reason for that?

is it rare case only or is it very common?

Usually it is reasoned as some sort of a "security" check... more rare than common but it occurs

my case is still pending now and we didnt receive any rfe's we filed our case on november,

i was once a beneficiary of k1 visa before.

Do you think they are doing security check in our case?

USCIS does do name checks, and sometimes they can take some time. If you were a beneficiary of a prior K-1 petition, the outcome of the prior case may have some barring on the current case.

is there a chance that they will deny us?

I went to US and didnt get married and went back to my homeland before my visa will expired

i think i went back after 88 days .Is that an issue too to USCIS?

im aware about the w/in 90 days u need to get married.

  9. WHat i meant was we met "only once" when i was in USA, coz we never expected we're gonna like and love each other.

Then after couple of months he filed for the petition for k1.

After like 2 months he visited me in my country.

Sorry if my post is a little bit confusing.

The USCIS does not care if you only met once... They only care that you met and you can provide sufficient evidence demonstrating that face-to-face meeting.

So now you tell us he visited you in your country? Does this not constitute more than having met only once or was this after the petition filing?

Yes fwaguy he visited me in my country after he filed the k1 petition.

  10. Hi all! its nice to be back again, my case is still pending we filed last year and if you've read my previous thread

this is my second time for k1 ( different petitioner) so here is the situation,I only met my fiance once when i was in USA

when we met in restaurant,he asked for my contact information, after few weeks i flew back to my home country( i went home on time before 90 days) we communicate through online, then after few months we decided to be officially gf/bf(cause before i wasnt ready to commit to serious relationship)

,when he filed for k1 we just sent my boarding pass no photos only my boarding pass, is that enough evidence of meeting for the past 2 years?

He came to visit me in my country but the k1 has already been filed.

    So my questions are:

Does USCIS will see it as red flag because we just sent my boarding pass only as proof of meeting in person for the past 2 years??no photos etc?

Does it really an issue for the USCIS that this is my second time for k1 beneficiary?

How come our case doesnt get approval yet?

    Thank you in advance

  11. Oh man! i think i will be crazy in no time, this waiting period makes me so sick now,it has been

nearly 160 days now since we filed our I-129F,We called USCIS but the lady said they cant do anything since our case is still within the timelines. They touched our case for couple of times last month and until we dont have any "good"news

i am really wondering what they are doing with our documents?Did they accidentally throw it?

    or something???

I just want to scream now, cry, everyday im checking my email and hoping and praying some miracle from heaven will happened and will get the approval.Im really trying to stretch out my patience ,i dont know until when can i do this.

    Sorry for this folks.

Okay i feel a little bit better now.

  12. Hi sophee_ya,

I hear ya!!! I had a previous Greencard which I let expire so I'm stressed about that - and we are even earlier filers than you. I won't say relax cos you won't but many people here have found that alcohol in copious amounts eases the pain somewhat!!!

I'm off the devil's buttermilk for Lent but if there's no NOA2 for us by next week I'll be testing their theory myself.

Seriously though, some days you care about no NOA2, others you don't. Some days are sulky, some days have a grin, and some days have bouncers who won't let you in ...

    R

I know what u mean , there are some times that i dont mind checking my account on uscis.its just started last week when my case has been touched so many times.I know its so silly to do but i keep on checking my email like 4 to 5 times a day!! and it frustrate me when all i can see is...CASE RECEIVED AND PENDING........!!!

I hope we'll received our NOA2 this week!!

  13. My k1 visa case has been touched SO MANY times last week.

We filed it way back in October 2007 and got the NOA1 on November 2007

Im wondering if my previous k1 visa could affect my case at the moment?

I couldnt sleep wondering whats happening now with my case in CSC.

I see some november and december filers who received their approval and mine is still pending.

I cant help not to be anxious and i hope my previous k1 visa wont hurt or hold my future life with my fiance
