to all US permanent residents who traveled outside the US, when you come back to the US soil @ the immig. and custo, where do you Line up? Is there a separate line for US citizens vs. US pemanent residients? my husband and my kids are all US citizens except for me... I've heard that the lines are looong for US permanent res... can somebody clarify this for me???

Quick question... if you have a green card and and travelled internationally, is there a separate line for people with green vs. US citizens upon entering the US immigration and customs?? just curious.. thanks guys..

I use my maiden name on my passport and my greencard has my married name,, will I have a problem re -entering the US soil, any tips advice to prevent any hassles?. sorry if this questions is redundant. thanks..

I've been married to my US citizen husband for 4 years goin on 5 years in sept. I just got my green card on my 2008 (thru mariage). when can i apply for my citizenship? do i need to wait 3 years or can I apply now since we've been married over 2 years.. thanks ..

did you guys get your approval notice for 485? i've been waiting for mine eversince i got my email notice on june2nd. I called USCIS and they told me that it doesn't really matter cuz I already got my welcome letter and my green card. I got my approval notice for 130 a week after i was notified by email. I guess i just want to have all the hard copy in my hands ..

i know it's kinda foolish of me to worry but here's the deal .. I already got my green card, it was oredered on may 27th and i got it on june 2nd, on that same day, i got an email that says they sent me an approval notice for I485, and i still havent gotten anything from the mail it's been a lil' over a week..maybe i'm just crazy worrying about it... did you guys have the same experience??? thanks a bunch

I live on the east coast and I'm planning to drive to montreal this summer, would my green card suffice? or should I need to bring my passport as well? thanks everyone..

I had my aos interview on 2oth and and the IO said i should receive my Green card within 3-4 weeks i got an email the other day saying that approval notice sent for 130 and welcome letter sent, i went to uscis website that day and the last update date was 21st, then this morning i went to their website again and the update date is 22nd... i wonder what it meant , does it mean Touched? i thought if you're approved no more touches on the case? for any of you who had the interview how long before you guys received the welcome letter? also mine didn't say card production ordered... i guess ireally beleive it when i have my green card in hand... i apologize if im asking a redundant question... happy memorial day everyone... oh yeah one more(so sorry) does the welcome letter come from NBC? thank you

hello everyone!! im new here. My husband and I filed for AOS and 130 on JAn. 15th. we got noas for both application 2 weeks later. our applcation is at NBC. i already had my biometrics done 2weeks ago. i also got an rfe for medical exam which i have an appointment for on fri. im trying to track our case online , on the 130 receipt it says case pending but when i enter the receipt no. for aos, it says validation error. is this because i haven't submited the rfe yet? or do i go by the receipt on 130? thanks..
