yes everything was submmited, i really would like to go the joint sponsor route cause my uncle is acting iffy about giving his bank statements, can someone tell me if i can do the joint way?

We did we provided everything, and they still ask for a letter of employment

ok well i applied for AOS in february 2009, Me and my son got our NOA, and we even went to do biometrics, then we get an RFE saying that my brothers i-864 petitions doesnt have enough evidence, he is self employed and takes care of old people, so he doesnt have pay stubs or w2's, he wrote a letter statis his self employment and how much him and his wife, because she is a household member and is also using her income to help, Now when i asked them if they have anything that we can send in, they dont, so what do we do now??, we have a few people that are more than willing to file a i-864 for joint sponsor, but in our case its not that the original i-864 isnt sufficient, its that they dont have suffiecient evidence, CAN WE STILL FILE A JOINT SPONSOR? we have been waiting so long for this and paid alot of money so if anyone can please give us feed back it would be gratly appreciated, thank you

Well i petitioned for my sister back in 1998, she has been waiting a very long time and her son has too, he is 20 right now, they are covered by the 245i and are allowed to adjust status with in the U.S, the problem is this, a few weeks back we called the USCIS to check up on the petition and see if everything was correct cause of how close we are, her priority date is JAN 98, and right now its on Sep 97, we are from Argentina, so there is no special category for her, ok well when we called they told us that her sons last name was spelled wrong, by only 2 letters, my question is how can i fix this, i dont know if anyone knows about the retention of priority date thing with the CSPA, and im worried if this name thing would be a problem, if it came to using the CSPA, IF ANYONE CAN HELP PLEASE DO THANK YOU

thanks for the responds, this is it, my mom filed for I-130 back in 98 when the 245i was on, through her brother, we have been out of status, all this time, and if anyone is in my shoes they truly know how hard it is, i came here when i was only 3 so this is my country, i finally have this chance to adjust my status throught my moms petition, but these two things worry me, One thing i do not understand is that when i read the medical exam description, it said that other than experimental would not matter, yes i experimented with marijuan a few times prob 4 at the most, but than again OMOBA says that some posters have been denied for use of drugs atleast once, idk what to do, i havent done any drugs in a long time, when i did i was young and dumb, now i am grown and have a good plan and goals for my future, our priority date is not current yet but seems like i will be sometimes in may-july, its jan of 98, please anyone who can give me more advice i am more than happy to take it

Ok well im glad i found this website, i have a few questions and need some honest answers and hopefully people with expierence, i am up for my medical soon i have lived in the states for a long time now, ive always gone to Doctors here and there, i never really had a specific DR. when i was 17 i did something really dumb and to get attention i cut my wrist, my parents took me to the emergency room, and they did the whole 9 yards and made me take everything off and put on this funny robes and told me i would be sent to a special hospital if my parents said ok to it, once i heard that i explained to my mom that i did it out of fustration and attention i never truly intended to kill myself or anything like that, so she took me back under her custody, after that i saw a psychologist for a bit, and now i see another one from time to time, im 20 now and i go to college and have a good life without any problems, also when i was younger i experimented with marijuana once, and once i did coke, only once, when i use to go to the DR.'s i use to feel like such goody two shoes to say i just tried it once so i use to tell them i did marijuana a bunch of times, i ask myself why i was so stupid, but yea i was. im so scared that these two things will come back, and my main question is, when i go to the medical, will they in any way check with DR.s i have used, like is there a way that they can get in contact with those hospitals and all the dr.s who treated me, or is everything taken straight from my honesty?, - hopefully someone will answer thank you
