    Hello mga mommies!

    It's been a while since last ako nag log in dito, busy-busyhan eh... hirap maging working mommy!

    anyway, I have a question pala kasi uuwi kami early next year, I want to ask kung sino yong nag report ng birth ng anak nila dito sa consulate and how long does it takes to get the confirmation? tsaka how long nkuha yung Philippine passport nila?

    congrats! YOU CAN Apply your baby's SSN once you received her crba and passport, they are gona look for that when you apply for ssn. you can go directly to the USEM without appointment .. tell them you need to go to the veterans affair section if im not mistaken or better ask somebody at the USEM.

    Hi mga mommies. Sa mga nanganak ng 2009 do not forget to claim your Earned Income Credit sa tax return. I filed our tax return using e-file 10 days ago and we got a tax refund of $4960 in our bank account today. I did not use any tax preparer like H & R Block and it saved us $200 for this year. We have 2 dependent children & I used married filing jointly. If your kids does not have SSN yet, apply for them before you file your returns. Its one of the requirements for the Earned Income Credit.

    kami din , $8K plus tax return namin 2 kids kami tsaka may earned income credit, sa H&R block kami nag file $300 din ang fee...

    lolz bili ng used car for me, kaya ayon ubos na.. hehehe

    hello mommies!

    its been a while ... uso talaga dito pag may acid reflux eh lalagyan ng baby cereals yong bottle kahit medyo maaga pa, ganun din ginawa nila sa anak ng sister in law ko, madali daw mabusog tapos the baby can sleep all through the night with out feeding! ganun ginagawa nila para di sila masyadong mapagod sa kakagising tuwing gabie to feed their babies..

    you should also choose between tricare prime or standard, you can google the difference between them.

    here in MD we have an option to switch to JohnHopkins Military plans, my friends who are enrolled in JH likes the civilian dr's than here on base..

    we are still on tricare prime and we have no complaints so far..

    mga mommies may tanong lang ako yung home PT ba accurate? nag test kse ako (+-) lumabas sabi sa box positive daw :D sa thursday pa check up ko para malaman kung totoo sya or nde e sobrang ataters lang ako malaman

    I hear you. Ako din eh, feeling ko papainduce na ako on my 37th week. I am on my 36th week and 2nd day na. Natatakot na kasi ako dahil baka mashado malaki na si baby sa tiyan ko at isa pa tagal ko ng 4cm hehe. Very uncomfortable na rin talaga matulog lalo na kung puro contractions at sipa doon sipa dito si baby hehe. Hubby and I talked about it na about dito and he agreed naman at gusto nya na rin lumabas si baby :)

    te Riza, kawawa naman si baby mo sana hindi naman cya nangayayat.

    Chinese_mutt, naku mejo mahaba haba pa pala ang pagdadaanan mo pero don't worry di mo na rin mapapansin ang panahon at bukas makalawa eh lapit ka na sa due date mo. Ano ba yung pregnancy journal na sinasabi mo? as in journal cya na susulatan mo about your pregnancy journey? Ang meron lang na binigay sa akin eh para cyang card na dinadala ko every visit ko sa OB tas sinusulat nila doon yung weight gain ko, baby's heartbeat, my sugar/protein, baby's age, fundal height etc. Bale doon eh namomonitor ko din pregnancy ko. Binigyan din ako ng journal na babasahin about pregnancy. Good Luck sa pregnancy mo at sana eh hindi ka mahirapan :star:

    yeah sorta like a book tapos sinusulatan ng OB as Pinas. So you will have a record/souvenier of your pregnancy. ako wala akong natangap na kahit na ano except BILLS! Nyahahahaha!!!

    Sana nga, atat na ko matapos ung 9 months pregnancy period. Medyo wala talaga akong energy lately, heartburn, at migraine ang kalaban ko now. Pero ayos lang in a few more weeks (9 more) malalaman ko na ung sex ng baby. :lol:

    wla nga silang ganyan dito, I asked about it before sabi nila dont worry its all in the computer daw,

    buti pa sa pinas may record ka, you can keep track of how much you weigh pati BP from the first ka nag pacheck up..

    Speaking of epidural, pwede bang humingi ka na kapag nagdilate kana? I mean kung nsa hospital kna at minomonitor na yun contractions mo. Paano ba yun, pasensiya na eh wla nmn akong alam sa mga ganyan..lol..Hay ayaw ko talaga ng pain :bonk: :bonk: :bonk: yun yung isa kung kinakatakutan kaya curious talaga ako kung kelan nila iibigay yung epidural :lol: :lol: :lol:

    Correct me if I'm wrong, I think if you're 8cm dilated d ka na pwedeng bigyan ng epidural..of course not unless there's a call for emergency during the last minute of your labor. With me before, during my pre-registration in the hospital I got to meet the anesthesiologist..he discussed the pros&cons of using epidural and that during my labor I can always say no if I don't want to.

    8CM na ako binigyan ng epi, normally at 5 cm binibigay ang epi .. akala ko kasi I could take the pain..

    parang uso ata dito ang cs ah...kasi sa mga show na napapanood ko about giving birth halos cs din.

    yup I agree, CS uso dito because mas malaki daw ang claim sa mga insurance thats according doon sa forum na nabasa ko im not sure kung totoo yun..

    my first son, natural wlang epi kaya naman ang labor pain, etong 2nd baby ko is my epi until now parang sore pa rin ang back ko, im going to complain about this back pain during my postpartum appointment..

    Hello to all mommies here and welcome sa mga bagong nag join dito sa forum:)

    I'm gone for 3 days dito sa forum kasi I already gave birth last sunday around 8:57 pm. Hindi ko lubos inakala na sobrang hirap pala but everything is worth when I finally saw our baby boy. Saturday around 1:00 am nagising na lang ako dahil parang feeling ko basang-basa ako..tapos when I check di lang pala talaga feeling yon kundi totoo..I thought that my water broke pero sabi ko baka di naman kasi I don't feel anything at all na manganganak na nako...so I changed and I go back to bed...after 20 minutes yon na naman nangyari so I woke up my husband and I told him what happened..we still thinking kung pupunta na ba kami so hospital..so we ended up calling them and sabi nila its better nga daw na punta na lang don to check me. 2 am nasa hospital na kami and true enough my water broke and I'm already 1cm dilated. Hindi na kami pina-uwi...around 7 am Sunday I'm 3 cm dilated...11 am still 3 cm..that is when I decided to get na the Petocin(tama ba spelling) para mapabilis yong contractions..after a few minutes..2 minutes na yong interval ng contractions..and sobrang sakit na...from the start I'm really wanted to have normal delivery I mean no medication included..but iba na pala pag nasa stage ka na ng labor..I decided to get pain medication at first yong sa IV lang nilalagay and medyo mild lang sya..pero after 1 hr wala ng yong bisa and that time sobrang sakit na talaga. And I can't believe myself na humingi sa kanila ng epidural..but I'm glad I did it kasi baka kung hindi di ko nailabas si Baby kasi I'm already worn out. Finally 8pm I'm already 10cm.And that time the Dr. told me that we need to get the baby out ASAP because his heartbeat is dropping down and that time I'm shaking uncontrobable. I pushed for 1hr before the Baby came out.....He is 6.6 lbs and 19.3 inches.

    btw...im only 37.2 weeks and thank GOD he is healthy and OK and we are finally home now :)

    congrats evelyn! when i had my epi, 8 cm na ako, grabeh ang anesthesiologist eh sinabihan ako ng MAM I HAVE A BIG NEEDLE ON UR BACK PLS DONT MOVE!!!! eh ang contraction ko is every 3 mins na ata,, ang sakit kaya i cant keep still...

    pag naglalabor na as in unbearable talaga ang pain but worthy nga when u hear the baby cries and mahawakan mo na sya!

    cant wait to see the pics nahh!!!!!

    hello mommies! hay ngayon lang nkapag day off ang yaya LOL.. :dance:

    hows everybody? 14 hours din akong nag labor, tapos 8cm na ako binigyan ng epi kasi at first akala ko kaya ko ng wlang epi, esi CS na nga nila ako but I said no.. my baby was only 2.6 kilos or 5.13 pounds.

    marami nga pala kaming na receive na freebies from the hospital, like diaper bag... mga baby stuff..

    wag na nga pala kayo mag dala ng toiletries kasi provided na sya sa hospital like socks, toothbrush,shampoo..

    going home outfit nlng ninyo at ni baby, tapos dapat marami kayo quarters para sa vending machines for snack ng hubby nyo..

    eve ako papatuli na namin kasi covered na rin sa insurance... lam nyo naman pag nasa military maliit ang sweldo pero ok ang benefits kahit papano nakakaraos din...

    pag post partum appointment ko magpapa IUD agad ako mahirap na mag do re mi baby namin heheheh..

    princeandprincess, oo bisaya ako frm CDO..

    about sa camote bumili ako once pero bat iba ang lasa na sayang lng..

    meron pala malapit na Filipino store sa amin, nku maraming goldilocks na product pati halo2x meron...

    sa lahat ng buntis ingatz!

    Our plan nga mag pa IUD ko. Tama jud ka Ruby! Lisod jud mag do re mi ang atong mga anak. We only want one child. And I'm so happy we're having a baby girl.

    Butuan ko sa Agusan del Norte. Peru didto ko nag school sa Liceo.

    oh my licean pud ko unsa ka nga batch? ako mama taga san franz ..

    about sa tuli...one time nagpunta kami ng walmart ng hubby ko may mommy na pinapalitan nya ng diaper baby nya sa stroller...then napatingin ako sa ehem ng baby kasi tuli...na amazed ako kasi first time ko makakita ng baby na tuli...parang mini ehem ng lalaki...hehehehe

    iba talaga kasi yong panganay ko hindi pa tuli, tsaka im babysitting a toddler boy dito sa bahay namin ka edad ng anak ko,.. parang pang adult na talaga ang ahem...

    ako na ang next... cant wait, may birth plan ba kayo? kasi dito meron like pwede sa loob ng Delivery rm si hubby, mag ka cut ng cord, picture2x and all.. pero hubby ko ayaw nya, baka himatayin daw sya.

    hay laki naman ng bill mo riza makabuang.. hahaha.. our first son was born in pinas kaya i tried everything na normal para menus gastos :blush: , pero dito covered lahat so far wla pa kaming nagastos.. nung isang araw tumawag ang taga WIC asking kung nanganak na raw ba ako, sabi ko hindi pa.. punta daw agad sa kanila pag ka panganak para e discuss ang breast feeding..

    i have an appointment on wed. sana ready ng lumabas si baby.. wish
